A/N: I have no idea where I got this one. It was really late at night and I just... started writing. lol. It's not really a shipper, it's just... I don't know what it is. lol mostly dialogue though.
Oh, also, I'm not sure when or where it takes place. It's probably a year or two in the future, and all I know is that Syd's on a mission. Lol.
CONFRONTATION
Have you ever experienced five minutes that seemed to stretch out to a lifetime? She did. It was late one night, but she was still awake, running quickly and trying to keep from tripping in her three inch heals.
Then she saw him, and he saw her.
He blinked his crystal clear eyes and sent a sly grin.
"Good evening."
She caught her breath. "...Hi."
"Missed me?"
"What makes you think so?"
"Admit it, Bristow. You don't hate me as much as you try to convince yourself to believe."
"You're right. I hate you more."
"I'm sure you do. I'd like to say the same about you, but 'm not one to conceal my emotions to keep my pride."
"What are you insinuating?"
"I'm not insinuating anything."
"Look, I'm not trying to uphold my pride, despite what your inflated ego makes you believe."
"You feel something for me, Agent Bristow."
"You're right, I do. I feel a strong animosity for you. I also feel that you are the most obnoxious, self-centered bastard I've been in contact with for a long time."
"And you love that about me."
"Don't think I'll hesitate to prove your theory wrong."
"I don't doubt it, Sydney."
"Do not call me Sydney. I am Agent Bristow to pricks like you."
"You have to stop pretending."
"What I have to do is leave. Goodbye, Mr. Sark."
"Actually, I must go now, too."
"To Hell, I hope," she muttered, and whipped around and left.
He watched her as she walked away.
Soon… he thought. She'll come around soon.
A/N: I seriously have no idea where this came from, being the huge S/V shipper that I am. I was basically just experimenting with my friend's theory on how Sark is going to fall for Sydney. It kinda ended up sounding like Buffy and Spike, but oh well. Lol. Review!
