Arthas, leader of the Scourge, champion of the living, was riding his coal black horse to Thrall's secret hut in Winterspring. The news he would bring to Thrall saddened him, but it must be done. Arthas came to a stop when he reached the private hut, he imagined the despair, sorrow he would see in Thrall's eyes when he broke the news. Thrall was eating his dinner when the door opened and it alarmed Thrall, but when he saw who was at the door, he jumped to his feet in excitement. "Arthas, it's been so long, come here, kiss me." Thrall exclaimed.
"I must not, Thrall, in fact our love is the reason I am here, it must end," said Arthas, with a sad, almost depressed tone in his voice.
...Five years previous…
"CHAAAARGE!" Thrall commanded as his armies rushed the battlefield, bloodthirsty, ready to kill anything that stood in their way of victory. Legions of undead crawled like bugs over a hill, surprising the Orcish army, for the Orcs had thought the Scourge force to be much smaller than it was. As Thrall galloped into battle, he caught a glimpse of Arthas, commander of the Undead in the heat of the battle. ARTHAS! That sneaky Murloc! Thrall thought I'll see him dead by the end of this day. With eyes centered on Arthas, Thrall swept through the crowd of death and bloodshed. Being only feet away of Arthas, he jumped off of his wolf and kicked him off his horse. It was a duel, Thrall vs. Arthas, one on one. The battleaxe met the bloodstained blade of the sword. Thrall was smart, after minutes of fighting, he managed to lead the duel out of the large fray and into a more isolated area of the battlefield. With a rush of adrenaline, Arthas tackled Thrall to the ground. Weapons locked, they started to gaze in one another's eyes. Thrall suddenly saw much beauty in Arthas and vice versa. At the same moment, they realized they were meant to be, and kissed with passion.
For years following, they kept their gay relationship secret. Nobody could know about their love, or else they'd be outcast from their kingdoms. Many times have they made forbidden love in the romantic forests of Ashenvale, many time have they, together, witnessed the lovely sunset in the Barrens, many times have they walked the beach of Westfall. They would lie to their generals for an excuse not to attack one another's armies. They loved each other.
Now, the relationship is nearing an end. "But Arthas, why!?" Cried Thrall.
"Thrall, for you are an Orc and I am not, we must move on and start having relationships with men of our own species." Arthas explained.
"But nobody will love me like you, Arthas, sob NOBODY!"
"Thrall, you deserve someone better than me, someone who will be there for you whenever you want. Our secret relationship is too risky, if one of us gets caught we will be excommunicated, or even executed for treason!"
"Arthas… kiss me one more time," said Thrall. Arthas then proceeded to make out with Thrall. "I'll always love you, arthie-poo"
"Goodbye Thrall, you will forever have a place in my heart."
That was the last time Thrall had ever seen or heard of Arthas. Only a few years later Thrall started a relationship with Vol'Jin, but it ended after Thrall realized he can no longer love another man. After that fateful day, Thrall changed from a loving, active Orc to a depressed and solemn one. Thrall's heart is forever broken.
