Okay here is my first attempt at a Axis Powers Hetalia fic! I hope you like it. It is set right before the American Revolution. As the title suggests it is about the first shot fired at The Battles of Lexington and Concord. Hopefully it's not an epic fail! Haha!
He was shaking. How did it lead up to this? All he wanted was to be free! If he just let him go this wouldn't even be happening. None of those who were going to die wouldn't have to. All the area destroyed. All because Arthur had to be stubborn and denied him his freedom.
Both had a gun trained on the other. Though both were shaking. The man, a Alfred F. Jones, said to the man opposite of him. "Why couldn't you just let me go? Many men both mine and yours are going to needlessly die! Don't you even care? Besides if you weren't so stubborn, all of the could have been avoided!" His voice stated to shake as well "Don't you love me?"
As he got asked this question, Arthur said with the strongest voice he could muster. "I have and always will love you, whether you get your freedom or not. But your freedom comes with a price," He then said as he looked him directly in the eyes "I am truly sorry it had to come to this." As he said this he pointed his gun directly in his face.
When he did this Alfred's face became as hard as stone "Fine have it your way," With that he too raised his gun to the other's face. "But remember this, I will always love you whether I'm a small colony or a strong country."
When he said this the other man nodded.
As soon as he nodded both men shot. At the same time. Both shots missed it's target though.
This shot would later become known as The Shot Heard Around The World. Neither man cared at that moment though because as soon as the shot was fired both fell to his knees. Both had his head hid in his hands. Crying for his county, his lose love and for the hope that this war would be over soon.
Soooo how was it? Please review! I'll give you a cookie!
