A/N: A very short oneshot. Fluffy level...high. Angst...not any, for me shocking I know. Unbeta'd So all mistakes belong all to me.

A wave of possessiveness surged through him, his hand that was resting on her back pulled her close. Her initial sound of surprise was muffled by his bruising lips. Her surprised squeak turned into a moan, and he smiled against her lips.

"You know you don't have to do that. I'm yours. Only yours." She could always read him so clearly. Her voice was so sincere, her eyes kind and patient. Still holding her close to his body, he rested his forehead against hers.

"I know. I'm just not sure the guys leering at you do."

Her eyes sparkled with amusement, never believing that other men thought of her in such a way. Still she humored him and his insecurities.

"I'm pretty sure you're the only one ever leering at me." This remark earned her a smile and his chuckle shook her small frame, which was still pressed tightly against his body. Her true modesty made him adore her even more.

"Well maybe Don sometimes." She glanced up to see his reaction.

"Oh no, now I'll have to flatten him" he replied, his voice laced with a teasing lilt.

She was glad that their conversation had turned to joking. She knew he still worried he wasn't good enough for her. That thought was laughable, he was endlessly devoted and loving. He was completely understanding without even mentioning his faithful support during their rocky start. Even when she pushed him away she knew he was silently still behind her. Just when her past and the trial became too much to handle on her own, he was there for her in Montana. It was as if he could feel her need for him. They were both so fiercely independent, but together they learned to lean on each other, to be open to one another. She had told him so many times that he was the one. Her only one. She realized she was going to have to show him, remind him that her soul, her heart and her body was only his. She placed her left hand on his chest, the diamond ring and platinum band gleaming against his black shirt.

"Maybe it's time to take me home Cowboy."
