The Great American Sport Called Baseball

It's 2007. As you know we've got the AL and the NL going to the World Series after overcoming The ALDS and ALCS. It's been a hard season. Over 170 grueling games. When one team will win it all. However, what about the loser. The team that came all that way for nothing. Some have always dreamed of two outs bottom of the 9th, bases loaded, score tied 1-1. Then you're up to bat. A chance to get that one hit to win the game. Well, to these guys, that game is actually seven games… Called the World Series.

As you know, it all starts with spring training. You get your five-month vacation, but it's now time to show up for practice. You have 30 days to prove whether you're hot or not. After this, it's a race to the finish. Have you ever had the feeling of having something in your grasp, but letting it slip from the palm of your hand? Lets go back to 1997 in good old Jacobs Field. The Indians have a playoff-bound record of 85-76 in the regular season. 22 teams must say goodbye to their seasons… But for the remaining eight, the season has just begun. The Cleveland Indians being one of those eight, brush past the Yankees in the ALDS by a series of 3-2. Then just happen to defeate Baltimore 4-2. Now having reached the World Series, the fans would have thought Cleveland to be invincible. However, the Indians knew it wasn't over yet. They'd still have to slide past the Florida Marlins to reach any teams goal.

Game 1: Cleveland vs. Florida:
