Miles away from a kingdom, laid an enchanted forest, inhabited by wonderful creatures, of the land, water, and sky. The creatures lived happily in the domain of their own. Among the creatures were the three good fairies, Flora, Fauna, and Marryweather.
The three fairies governed the forest, insuring joy and peace. However, though it was a happy place, it held a dark secret. For among them was a wolf. And that wolf was the wicked fairy Maleficent.
One day, the fairies were tending the rivers. Fauna evened the moss on the rocks and stones, Flora nursed the sick river trolls, and Marryweather was tending the lilies. Fauna whirled some moss before splattering it on a big rock which made some of it splash on Marryweather. "Oh! Hey now, who did that?!" Marryweather asked with an irritated face.
Fauna looked over her shoulder, wondering what Marryweather was fussing about and saw some moss on her face. Realizing her mistake, she chuckled and said "Oh dear. Sorry, Marryweather! I guess I got a little cocky."
Marryweather pouted as she said "You should be more careful when you decorate, you know."
Hearing the fuss, Flora turned to her friends and said "Now girls, don't goof around. We need to keep on schedule on things. And that includes ensuring no humans invade this land to ravish it."
"The humans are the least of our problems, I think." Marryweather protested. "If you know what I mean."
Flora let out a depressed sigh and said "Yes, I know. That mischievous little fairy who takes pleasure in the misery of others. She has been nothing but trouble for everyone. If she isn't careful, she could end up..." She then had water splash in her face, which made her peeved. "Marryweather! Of all the immature stunts!"
Marryweather looked confused as she asked with a shrug "What did I do?" She then had mud splattered on her face. The blue fairy wiped the mud off as she shouted "Fauna!"
Fauna noticed the the mud on her friend's face and said "Goodness! That wasn't me." Suddenly, a dark shadow crypt over them. They looked up terrified, seeing giant dark clouds forming to creat a storm. "Oh no! A storm is brewing!"
Rain began to pour like mad and strong winds began to blow. Marryweather looked serious as she exclaimed "This has to be the work of Maleficent!"
"Quickly, girls! We have to warn all of the creatures to take shelter!" Flora stated as they flew as fast as they could to warn the other creatures of the danger.
Elsewhere, on top of a rocky hill, a little girl with green skin, black hair, sinister looking horns, dragon like wings and a black dress looked down at the scurrying creatures with an evil grin as she laughed at the mayhem she was causing.
I've recently seen the movie, and truth be told, I was pretty disappointed. I mean, Maleficent, good?! That's like saying Phantom Blot is good and Mickey Mouse is evil! So, I've decided to make this fanfic which carries some plots of the movie, only Maleficent is still evil. Hope you've enjoyed the prologue. (R&R)
