Rory was below the glass floor of the Tardis console, examining the parts through The Doctor's spare dark goggles, determined to understand what exactly each bizarre looking contraption did.
"Doctor," Rory asked, "What does this do?"
"Hmm?" The Doctor stopped gazing into Amelia's eyes and wizzed over the balcony of the control panel. Gripping on the railings with his feet, dangling upside down, he realized what Rory was about to touch.
"DON'T TOUCH THAT!" he panicked and lost his grip, landing head first on the hard coral-like ground beneath the console.
"Oh-" said Rory "What happens if you do?" he asked inquisitively.
"Well, you die, but your moment of death catches you in a time loop that eventually the Tardis can solve within an hour." He explained, pulling one of his derpiest dapper faces. "But it hurts her quite a bit and she usually has to redecorate my bedroom as a side-effect."
"Oh, I'll make sure not to get caught up in that." Rory said in his standard awkward fashion.
Amy pulled a cunning smirk and stared into the Doctor's eyes. She moved her eyes from his, to the general area of Rory, giving The Doctor the signal.
They were ready.
All they needed now was to make it look like an accident.
