Hi from solange1314! Here's a new one-shot about Bridgette and Geoff. I got this idea form a chain email that my friend sent me called "middle school drama". Hopefully this will be the last update that I have to do for this story. Thanks for your critiques BroadwayBabe4 and Jacobella!
"C'mon Geoff. You know I'm always here for you. You can tell me anything." she reminded him as they sat outside the Bass cabin. The sun was just starting to set off in the distance.
"Yeah, I know…"
"What's wrong?"
"I dunno, it's just…I like this girl so much and-"
She cut him off. "You've gotta talk to her. It's the only way to sort it out. Trust me."
"No way! I mean… she won't ever like me."
"Don't say that! You're a great guy."
"I just want to tell her how I feel, but I don't want her to be all weirded out or anything…"
"Then just tell her. She'll like you, I promise. Why wouldn't she?"
She always knows just what to say.
"Uh… I can just tell, okay. I swear there's definetly no chance."
"There's always a chance. Tell her anyway. Just tell her how much she means to you."
Like it's that easy... "I already do. Like every day."
"What does that mean?"
"I'm always around her. I guess… well I love her." Oh, way to go Geoff! Real smooth!
A soft sigh. "I know exactly how you feel. I've got the same problem, but he won't ever like me…"
"Yeah, I- wait, who do you like?"
"Well, he… he likes someone else. I'm positive. Just forget I said anything."
"Well she won't like me either."
"She does. I'm sure of it. You and I both know it!"
How could she possibly know? "How do you know?"
"Because who wouldn't like you? Seriously!"
"You."
She seems shocked, even a little hurt. "You're wrong…I…I mean… I really like you… really!"
Geoff jaw drops, but he quickly regains his composure. "Well, I…I love you too. I mean, well, you're like really cool and stuff, so, who wouldn't like you?"
They both realize how close they are sitting. Bridgette's hand touches his lightly. She blushes a little and tries to change the subject.
"So, are you going to talk to her?"
They look at each other, his piercing blue eyes shining back at her.
"I just did dudette."
A million thoughts racing through their heads…

You have to now or it'll never happen, Bridgette!
