Many young chicks gathered around a snowy owl. "Can you tell us a story?" "Tell us a story!" They all chanted. A male barn owl let out a small chuckle as he watched the female get tackled by the owlets.
"what story do you want me to tell, young ones?" She said, as she flew out of the crowd.
A little chick, who was currently under the male barn owls wing was the first to respond.
"how about the one about the time you met my brother! Please Hedwick!"

My life wasn't exactly, how would you put it... a normal one. To begin with, I'm actually a pet. A pet is an animal that is a companion of a HUMAN!
Now, the human I belonged to was not to an ordinary human, but a wizard. He had the ability to use magic!
His name is Harry potter. In my view, harry is the kindest wizard in the world.
I remember the day Hagrid gave me to Harry. He's a giant human. I remember all the times he told me how cruel his aunt and uncle were. One of my favourite memories was the time Harry's friends busted the two of us out with a flying car. Cars are large metal machines that humans sit in to go to somewhere faster.

all the owlets nodded their heads, and eglantine shivered a little.
"Good, anyway,
While we were traveling we encountered some death eaters. They were after Harry. One managed to throw a killing curse at him" she paused and began to look a little sad.
"but I couldn't let Harry be killed so I flew in front of him. I saw a green flash, and the last thing I heard was Harry cry my name. After that, I just saw black..."
the barn owl glided towards her and faced the young owls
"I think it's time for you little ones to get to bed, the sun is already starting to rise, you can continue the story tomorrow"
hedwick giggled " aw sorren, I was just getting to the good part! But I guess your right, you need to sleep if you want to be a good guardian. Time for all of us to get some rest, little owls"
