Ever since we left long ago, I never thought we would come back. We've been living in peace for years after our depart, and it's stayed that way. Except recently when we were given a letter that called us to return at Master Hand's request, but interestingly just the three of us. So we set off immediately. On the open water, we were soon to reach our destination. But something still felt odd.

"Hey, uh, is everything okay?" It was Gunner. I hadn't been talking to her, or much at all since we left, which might have made her a little worried.

"No, no, I'm fine." I replied to her. It was a total lie. So much was running through my head. She could probably tell, too. "You've been kinda quiet, are you sure there's nothing going on?"Of course. She saw through my facade. "I've just been thinking. Master Hand hasn't needed the help of Miis for centuries. Now all of a sudden there's a problem? And why does he need us specifically?" I asked. She waited to think a bit before saying anything, something she didn't normally do.

"I wouldn't think too hard about it, Brawler. I'm sure it's nothing. No matter what, we'll all stay together." She said, with a bright smile on her face. I decided to come with her, wherever she was going. But then I saw him.

Swordfighter.

"Hey, Brawler," he said in a sing-songy voice. "What are you up to?" He smirked at me. His piercing blue eyes seemed to, as things that pierce would, pierce my skin. "Nothing much." I snapped. His smirk lingered. Gunner sighed. She then averted our attention to the land that grew closer and closer. "Here we are. SmashLand."

We both exchanged glances. "SmashLand?!" We exclaimed in unison. I don't know WHERE she got that one from. "We're not calling it that." said Swordfighter. We made our way past many a formidable foe, or if you want to call them that. Geemers, Pookas, Mettaurs, and maybe even one or two Stalfos popped up, but it didn't stop us from getting where we needed to be.

Master Hand's lair. A mysterious manor, the staircase twisted and turned. It was an inescapable labyrinth that someone could get lost in and become a madman trying to get around the place. "This place is way too weird to navigate, honestly." I piped up. Swordfighter found what looked like an important door. "Okay, guys, let's be careful about this." Gunner rushed up to the knob, and suddenly it all went dark.

A humongous thumb waggled. Then four fingers spontaneously accompanied it. It formed a white disembodied hand. The Master Hand.
