Final Fantasy The Untold Tale

Prolouge:

I stood there holding the railing and viewing the ocean the water blue green I remember the waves slapping against the side of the 30 ton steel cargo ship as it effortlessley cut through the water. I felt the breeze through my shoulder length black hair I held ont to the railing as the water got a bit rougher and I turned around to see one of my best friends Zack Fair, me and him have gone through quite a bit together, " How's the rookie holding up" I asked him. He just looked at me and smirked

"He reminds me of you when you weere a rookie" Zack spoke softly as he walked forward to lean on the rail folding his hands "Any Idea what we're carrying Zeke." I was out of it I was reminiscing of when I was a rookie, hearing my name I snapped out of it.

"Your talking to me right." I pointed to myself.

"No I was talking to the other idiot named Zeke" He smirked at me and I looked confused "Yes I'm talking to you" He looked around to make sure no one was there and spoke quietley "I know we're SOLDIER and we aren't supposed to ask questions" He paused with a nervous look "but I don't like not knowing what we're transporting"

I looked over, our eyes meeting his dark blue and my peircing Ice blue and I spoke "I don't like it either it's pretty sketchy" Leaning with my back to the rail I put my foot on the second bar and stared off.

I knew why they wanted me to be here, In SOLDIER that is I looked like the perfect warrior i was young only 16 at the time I was built pretty muscely I had the black muscleshirt with white tripps and my black combat boots, the only thing I was missing was my katana and my fingerless gloves. I looked over to my best friend Zack and spoke "There has to be a reason they wont tell us what we're transporting" I stared head back, up at the sky.

"I don't know but I don't like it" Zack spoke in his usual calm tone as he walked over to the stairs leading to the living quarters he paused and said to me with out looking "If anything happens we can handle it" He turned and smirked "because we are SOLDIER" he turned back towards the stairs and descended.

"I hope your right Zack, I hope your right" I said to myself out loud and went back to my day dreaming as I stared back up at the sky...
