Hey everyone! I just remembered this poem that I wrote back in February. I wanted to write a Kataang poem because I'm a hard-core Kataang fan like that, so one day in school, I wanted to write a poem so after a few ideas for rhyming words, where/when this takes place, and quite a few drafts, I came up with this. The end is just kinda like "WTF random" cause it's just some Kataang thrown into the last line of the poem, but I don't really care. XD Anyway, one last thing before I shut up, this poem takes place right before the episode "The Awakening" (hence the title).
Disclaimer: Just take a wild guess...
Before the Awakening:
I sit here in a small, dark room,
holding you in my arms;
I will never let you go again,
Or let you come to harm.
It's been weeks since the attack,
and still, you won't awake;
I pray and cry for you every day.
I don't know how much more I can take!
Many things have changed
while you've been in my care,
we've found a few of our old friends,
you even grew some hair!
The invasion is being planned
carefully by our tribe,
hopefully we can get more people
to be here on our side.
Ba Sing Se has fallen,
but it will be okay.
For I know that once you wake,
you'll come to save the day.
Like I said, things have changed,
most in just one night;
but we won't give up that easily.
We all will stand and fight!
But one thing that has never changed,
that I know you're feeling too.
I just have to tell you now:
I think I'm in love with you…
So there it is. Nothing too special, but something halfway decent.
LGO Update:
For those of you who are reading my Life Goes On story, I just wanna let you know that the next chapter will come... eventually. My beta says she's grounded from the computer for some reason, and she has my story written out on paper, but she still has to type it up once she's un-grounded (assuming that's a word). Now, I have no idea when that will be, but I'm hoping sometime soon! I know, this over a month-long wait is getting on my nerves too. Just sit tight! Thanks for reading (both LGO and this poem!)
Please review!
