A/N: This has happened to me more times than I can count in class. I can never doze more than five minutes in one class, and then my head starts to sway. Just a little juicy cotton candy ball of fluff. Not sure what season but it has to be either Season 6 or 7 when Nick had his truck stolen that episode. I know such a horrible fan for not knowing details. Hello if Greg and Nick are in the episode not much else get paid attention to if you catch my drift. Still don't own anything and this is just a piece to hold all the Sandle lovers over until I can get a few more chapters on the follow ups done.

Guess it could be a follow up to His Queen cause it was referred to and could stand alone. Which ever way you want to think.

Enjoy.

Weird little tidbit but I was listening to 321 by Hedley when I thought of this hence the title.

Her eyelids had been dropping for the better part of 45 minutes, he knew that because he had glanced at the clock the moment she had lost the battle and closed her eyes.

He himself had down his fourth cup of coffee in the last half hour, he would not fall asleep, even though the caffeine had turned on him now making him sleepy.

Her eyes popped open and looked around, he tried his hardest not to look like he had been staring at her, instead quickly glanced at his magazine, which one it was he couldn't tell.

He bit the inside of lip to keep from smiling, because she didn't know if he had noticed she had fallen asleep only for three minutes, last time it had been for four and a half. And yes he was timing because it kept him awake.

He couldn't work because he was maxed out on over time, so was she. Nick was god knows where, probably complaining about his car being stolen. Glad it wasn't him.

He finally got to use a line he had wanted to say, Dude, where's your car? , it was still a little funny if you thought about it. It had caused a small smirk from Sara so he was happy.

3, 2, 1.

Her eyes shut again.

It was funny how she had been the one trying her best to get him out of bed this morning tempting him with breakfast, coffee and sex, not necessarily in that order. But lets just say, the coffee or breakfast hadn't worked. Neither had her saying she would dust naked, for the life of him he couldn't open his eyes, and now, he was the one staying awake while she dozed.

3 minutes and 42 seconds later

Her head drooped down, and she didn't wake up. She had finally lost her battle with exhaustion, he wasn't far behind her but he somehow remained awake for the next five minutes as she dozed.

"Sara" he gently nudged her shoulder and she jumped

"I wasn't sleeping" she defended herself

"Yes you were" he smiled as he leaned down

"Greg no" she side glanced him

"Why do you always have kissing me on your mind?" he teased

"I'm not the one who always has sex on my mind"

"That could be changed" he nodded coming closer, she closed her eyes but felt the chair move instead, looking around they were heading out of the break room.

"Greg where are we going?"

"To go get some sleep"

"Where?"

"Locker room of course" he pushed the chair along the maze known also the lab finally reaching their destination, he opened the door and pushed her in.

"And where do you expect me to sleep?"

"The benches run in an L, our heads at the L" his plan was crazy enough to work

"Alright" she pulled out a sweater out of her locker, and thought better and pulled two out.

"Here"

"Thank ya princess" he smiled a full tooth grin

"I thought I was a queen"

"I am terribly sorry you are a queen, the queen of England should take pointers from you"

"Way to cover your ass"

"I try"

"Goodnight Greg"

"Goodnight my Queen" he leans over for a kiss, not expecting one, they were at work after all! To his surprise, he gets one.

He waited a few minutes listening to her breathing

"Sara?"

No response

"I love you" and he himself, went to sleep.

Hidden from view, when Catherine woke Sara an hour later.
