A/N - Hello, I am not known for my time keeping so if I don't update the story in time please don't get to mad. Just thought I would say that in advance before I get any messages but I will try my best.
This is my first Mortal Instruments story.
I live in Scotland so I am going to use that school system where you are in Primary school for 7 years until you are 11 or 12, and then in Secondary for 4 years so about 16 even though you can stay for 1 or 2 more years so 17 or 18. Any questions concerning this just PM me or ask in the reviews.
Disclaimer- I Don't own The Mortal Instruments or The Infernal Devices if any of those characters appear. I haven't yet read a situation like this yet so I would like to say that I do own that.
Clary's POV
So this is it I am going into my last year of Primary School, the school I have been to the longest. Well, my family and I have moved a lot when I was younger, we have been here for about 5 years now and I hope we don't leave. I like it here, I have friends and I know we are going to be friends for a long time.
"So, Clary, you ready to go to school?" My mother asked.
"Yep! Aline and I have plans after school today so I'm staying there for dinner." I said to my mother.
"Okay sweetheart, are you walking yourself to school or are one of your friends walking with you?" She asked.
"I'm walking by myself today, mum. Remember school is only 5 minutes away" I reply.
"Okay, I love you. Bye."
"I love you, bye." I said as I walked out of the front door.
On the way to school I am listening to my music. I am always looking round as I have to cross a few roads that are always really busy this time in the morning. I made sure I wasn't late today. I hate it when you walk in to class late and everyone stares at you like why are you always late, I managed to get to school on time and I live further away than you? I just try to ignore it. My friends never ask so why should people I don't like know. I get to school with 2 minutes to spare phew. I'm glad that at least I have one year until I have to carry my bag with all of my school work around with me as we still only have one class teacher. I spot Aline, Seelie and Jessamine whispering and laughing at whatever was said. Seelie Queen spots me walking over to them and tells the others to shut up.
"Hi Clary, how have you been?" She asks.
"Umm .. Okay I guess. Are you okay?" I ask.
"Yep." She replied and then went back to whispering with my other friends. Aline did look at me apologetically but quickly turned back to Seelie.
I looked at the time 08:59 the bell will go any minute.
"Aline, I was wondering, am I still going to yours after school today?" I ask her hoping she won't ignore me all day.
"Umm ..." She said looking at Seelie then back at me, "Yes if you still want to." She said.
"Yeah." I said just as the bell rang.
Here goes nothing.
