Keith looked at Laura...he was happy to be with her. She looked badly injured. Natani couldn't do much to save her. Neither could Trace. Laura finally spoke.
Keith: I'm fine. So are you. They'll fix you. I know they can. Just hold on.
Laura: I'm glad you're okay...I...was worried. I'm just happy...I can finally rest.
Tears started to swell in Keith's eyes as he looked back towards Laura.
Keith: ...Laura? No Laura, you're fine. You're fine! We can be happy together...please! I'm sorry...I shouldn't have waited...I'm sorry I asked for more time...we can still go back to the way things were, the way things were, simpler times...please don't die...you mean too much to me...Please!
Laura went silent...tears rolled down Keith's cheeks as he prayed for Laura to be fine...but it was too late. She started to fade away as Keith grasped tighter to Laura. All Keith was grasping was thin air as the girl he loved was gone.
