The anxious feeling in her chest she just can't shake. Her heart is in her throat whenever she looks at this impossible man in his tweed and bowtie. He takes a moment to grin at her in his wild antics around the kitchen attempting to get them a bite to eat. Tears come to her eyes unwillingly and she tries to shake herself out of her melancholy. After all, she is here, with him and everything is gorgeous.

Unbeknownst to herself, Rose begins to stare into space. After she neglects to respond to a few of his purposeful acrobatics to make her smile, the Doctor quietly makes his was over to her and sits in front of her leaning his forehead to hers and covering her hands in her lap with his. Once in this posture, they both remain completely still and just breathe each other in.

"I know how you feel." The Doctor says quietly. "That uneasy feeling that just won't go away. After a century, I have learned it's just a part of life and you have to…" sighing heavily, he continues, "take the good as it comes and try to push away the inevitability of the bad which is to come. You're here. Oh Rose, you're here with me and that's all we need in this moment."

Foreheads still pressed together, Rose bumps his head in a playful manner right after a giant sniff to stop the tears his words have brought forth. She lifts her head until she can see his eyes and then can't help but giggle at the Cyclops before her.

"Alright then, Doctor, advice like that is hard to ignore." She pulls one hand from under his and cups his cheek. Softly, she whispers, "I'm so glad I met you."

The Doctor grins widely, "Me too."
