Hurt
"Was this my fault? Did I do something wrong? I must have or my Dad wouldn't need to hurt me at night".
"DR VALENTINE MY OFFICE NOW!" Connie bellowed.
"Oh great" thought Oliver "what have I done now" he followed Connie down to her office and went inside closing the door behind him.
"WOULD YOU LIKE TO TELL ME WHY I'VE JUST SAVED YOUR PATIENT'S LIFE IN THE CORRIDOOR WHEN YOU WHERE SURPOSED TO BE RUNNING AN ECG!" shouted Connie her face going red with rage.
"Sorry Mrs Beauchamp Penny asked me to help her with another patient" said Oliver.
"I DON'T CARE" shouted Connie "GET OUT OF MY OFFICE" Oliver left the office closing the door behind him.
Connie sighed and picked up the small photo frame which held a recent photo of her little Grace the image of Sam except for her head of curly hair the only thing she got from her father. Connie started to flick through her paper work when she decided she needed caffeine so she headed for the coffee shop.
When she got to the ground floor Connie was about to walk in to the coffee shop when she heard a commotion coming from the car park then a yell.
"Help please someone"
Connie dashed out into the car park and found a young girl no more than 13 years old laying unconscious on the ground. Connie bent down next to the girl and gently shook both her shoulders.
"Hello can you hear me" said Connie the young girl moaned and tried to fight Connie off "It's ok my name's Connie I'm going to help you" Connie took hold off the girl's hand and held it until the porters arrived with a trolley. Once the young girl was safely on the trolley the porters wheeled her into AAU Connie following behind.
When they entered AAU they where met by Penny.
"Unknown female not older then 12 or 13 found unconscious in the car park" said Connie.
"Ok bed three" said Penny
Once the girl was settled into her bed Linden left Faye to try and get some blood. Connie waited while Faye took the blood then spoke to the girl.
"Can you tell me your name?" asked Connie
"Amy" said Amy with a cough then she saw Linden walking towards her and she began to panic "Leave me alone stay away Connie don't let him hurt me" Amy began to pull at the drips and monitors that where attached to her. Connie took hold of Amy hands.
"Hey it's ok clam down no ones going to hurt you" said Connie Amy clung to Connie for dear life and began to sob into her chest.
