Again and again Cat would force Jade out of her hiding places and take her out, but every time they would both end up regretting it. Jade would get bored, then mean, and Cat would get offended then upset.
Once again, Jade was sat alone in a corner while Cat flirted with adoring boys.
Across the room Jade finally saw a face which interested her. A tall, tanned boy with long dark hair. Without knowing what she was doing, she started to walk towards him.
As Jade walked she realised that he was walking toward her too
Jade had never met a boy who came close to her in wit until that day- it was meant to be.
No-one had ever seen Jade this happy before, she was walking on air.
Beck lay awake wondering: a girl as talented and beautiful as Jade couldn't be single. Who?
He fell asleep dreaming of the beautiful girl with blue in her hair.
Jade's parents were speechless as their Goth daughter danced into their house with a big smile on her face- kissing them before running to her room.
Jade couldn't concentrate on the drive to school. He had said he went there too! How could she not have spotted him before?
The thoughts running through Beck's head were only of Jade. He hoped that she was single, but common sense told him that there was no way.
Jade arrived at school looking around franticly, a small smile playing on her lips as she remembered the night before.
Suddenly their eyes met in the corridor. They walked towards each other as if they were in a trance.
The same thoughts in both their minds
They finally met in the middle of the corridor, and as the bell went for first period their hands intertwined and their lips met.
