Hello again! Sorry I was late but I didn't have time and,besides,I hadn't come up with new story. So,here's a new story about two characters that still have a long story ahead of them. Enjoy and REVIEW!
A New Birth,a New Age
Merlin couldn't be more happy. The whole of Camelot had found out about his magic,Arthur had taken it very well and this leaded to magic now being LEGAL in Camelot. Plus,the dragon egg Merlin had brought back from their quest this noon was only a few moments from breaking and Arthur and his knights of the Round Table weren't going to miss it. In only a few moments,a new dragon will be born and a new age for Camelot will begin.
"Draca,ic ábannan þé oþ æalá þes*",Merlin called out.
"What was that?",Arthur asked
"What was what?",Merlin said
"What you said.",was the answer
"I called somebody."
"Who?"
Arthur weren't to know that his question was soon to be answered,when a big pair of wings were heard and when the figure came closer,it was only then that Arthur realised...
"You called HIM?",Arthur said frustrated
"It's alright,he's not gonna hurt you.",Merlin said
"But he attacked Camelot!"
"He hasn't hurt Camelot since then,has he?"
Arthur doesn't answer,so he continues watching.
"I see that you managed it,young warlock",Kilgharrah said
"Yeah. When will it hatch?"
"Young dragons were called into the world by the Dragonlords. Only they had the power to summon them from the egg. As the last dragonlord,this solemn duty falls to you,Merlin."
Merlin looks at the egg.
"How do I summon it?",Merlin asks
"You must give the dragon a name."
The knights get a bit amused as Merlin looks shifty.
"Aithusa.",Merlin finally calls
The egg starts breaking and a little white dragon can be seen,breaking the shell with the point of his snout.
"A white dragon is indeed a rare thing. And fitting. For in the dragon tongue you have named him after the light of the sun."
The knights,happy and surprised,watch as the birth evolves and Aithusa stands proudly to his dragonlord with his wings open,like he's saying to Merlin "I'm here.I want you to see me. And I want to make you proud."
While Merlin is shedding tears of pure joy,Arthur can't help but smile brightly at him because his friend was finally truly happy. His knights reacted the same as Arthur.
"I'm never leaving you,I swear that.",Merlin said as he knelt down and started stroking Aithusa adoringly as Aithusa himself accepted those strokes that were full of love.
Merlin is finally happy,Arthur thought. He would make sure that Camelot would indeed be the place where dragons are finally accepted. And with these thoughts he smiled again,proud for the first time of the young dragon. He knew that his friend felt like that too and he was glad for that.
