Chapter one
Faded
And I don't know why you're gone, now you're gone
No beautiful goodbye
You will never leave my mind
And it turns out to be so much different than our dreams
Anouk- One word
Have you ever seen someone you love, someone you admire, someone you wish all the happiness in the world, someone you would catch an unforgivable spell for, die in front of your eyes?
Have you ever heard of a story that is so breathtakingly beautiful, with so much raw and real love and passion where right before the happy ending it all shatters and falls apart?
I have.
Let me tell you this story…
It's hard to say what happened exactly. For the most part, it depends on who you ask. There are as many sides to a story as there are pairs of eyes. It's always been that way. One of those sides must be closer to the truth, but we'll never know which one...I try even now to look back at that time. Look past the blame and the outrage that made it all so hard to see anything. I try to piece it together...What follows is all I know.
"You're never there Drake…"
'I'm here now' came the soft reply.
The rain was softly pouring down, somewhere back in my mind I registered how perfectly fitting it was for the occasion.
"No even when you're here…you're somewhere else…please…I just can't do this anymore."
The silence that followed was painfully loud for me to hear, so much silent screams and invisible tears.
"Please say something….anything" it sounded desperate and weak, but to be honest I don't think he cared, he loves you so much.
When the so much desired answer did not came I heard a soft whisper barely audible for anyone to hear.
"Goodbye Drake" the two words reflected so much pain that I almost felt my own heart shatter…almost.
I heard his footsteps fade away and with it I saw Draco Malfoy fade away.
And then I knew the two greatest wizards of all time, my best friend and the love of his life had died today.
They were special in so many ways like their hearts are more fragile than others. Purer, somehow. Like crystal in a world of glass, even the way they shatter is beautiful.
It was supposed to be a love story.
