Jily one-shot

As lily walked down the stairs of their house, she heard James, mumbling to himself in the living room. 'James, I've told you before, doesn't talk to… Oh!' lily had been expecting to walk into a completely empty room, but instead she walked straight into Sirius. 'Lily, I forgot to tell you, I invited the guys round for a little baby warming party for little Harry!' Lily frowned, but she couldn't help but feel her heart glow at what an effort James had made. She knew he would be a great father.
Lily sat down in her chair, and watched how Sirius played with Harry. She was glad that James had nagged her to pick him as the godfather, and Harry hadn't cried once since he picked him up. She scanned the room, watching little harry beam as Sirius transformed into the great black dog before him, and how Harry reached for the soft fur, she watched James and Remus discussing their Hogwarts days, (They had hardly spoken since) and then her eyes fell onto Peter. She noticed how he was acting differently. Shifty, almost nervous. She still regretted letting Sirius convince her to change him from secret keeper, and to put the honour to Peter instead. But… A promise was a promise…
