-1Dear Neji,
I know I told you goodbye in person, but I wanted to write this letter because I didn't say all the things I wanted too, and I don't want to die knowing that I never told you.
The truth is, I've always thought of as far more than a sparring partner. I'm not fan girl, and I never will be, but I just wanted to let you know. Maybe, for whatever reason, you aren't getting what I'm hinting at, so basically, I love you. I've loved you ever since we were at the Academy. When you asked me to be your sparring partner, I was so excited. I know you at least like me, but don't think my memory is going to hold you back. Since I have a 12 percent chance of surviving this mission, I don't think I'll get another opportunity. So Neji, I want you to be happy. Fall in love, have lots of kids, and live tell you're old and grey. Remember me, please, but don't let me affect your new life.
I love you now and forever, and I promise to see you again.
Love,
Tenten
Days went passed without any word, and it was assumed that Tenten's mission had gone as planned. Still, Neji looked for her out the gates, and when he saw a lone figure stumble through, he was the first to race to her. She collapsed in his arms, and whispered, "I love you."
Her eyes closed, and Neji nearly screamed. "No!" He yelled. "I love you too. Hold on!"
Carrying her in his arms, he raced towards the hospital.
I know this is really short, but it was just an idea that came…..and went…..
So I hope you liked it. And don't ask me whether she's dead or not. It's up to you. I might write a sequel (or two, one for each ending) if you all want it or not.
Please review.
