Applebee's
Annabeth had on a casual sweater dress with combat books, her dagger tucked securely against her ankle. Percy had texted her the day before, wondering if they could go out to eat at Applebee's for a 'proper' date. She had no idea what that meant, but guessed that it most likely had something to do with the monsters interrupting their movie night a couple weeks before.
Just ten minutes after the time Percy suggested to meet up outside the restaurant, he finally showed up.
"Percy..." She huffed, but they both knew she was acting. "You're ten minutes late." Annabeth honestly couldn't care less if he was late by that much of a little time, but she decided to tease him. Percy adjusted his tie.
"Sorry wise girl, my mom held me up by asking all these questions," He changed his voice to a higher pitch that matched Sally's, "Where are you eating? What time are you coming home? Is Annabeth coming over? Did you clean your room?" Annabeth laughed at the intense hand motions he was making.
"Come on Perce, you know I don't care, I'm just hungry." Percy just grinned and held a hand out while opening the door.
"M'lady?" Annabeth giggled and took his hand.
"Why thank you." He planted a soft kiss on the top of her forehead.
"This is why I love you."
