Well, you might be wondering why the heck I'm writing this. It's strictly to "bridge the gap" between Dead Space: Trio and Dead Space: Jericho II, which is Terrance & Friends' next adventure. It's a collab with Captain Crazy-Nonsense. He's a good guy. I'm not sure what he'll be titling it as, but that's what I'm calling it either way. Anywho . . . On with the (extremely short) show!

Oh, right: Before you read this, you should read the totally famous, ever-read, begged for series "Dead Space: Trio," written by moi.

If you've already read DST, you'll notice immediately that this is written in present-tense and in 3rd person limited, while the original series was written in first person. I hope you like the change in scenery, because for DSJII I'm switching back to 1st person.

Okay, shut up, Wolf, and get on with it!

Fine, no need to get snippy. Jeez. The only reason I'm putting in so much up here is because the story is so damn long, and I don't want this to be a complete waste of time for you.

Tuesday – 0450 hours – The Bridge of the USM Entrepreneur

Terrance, Codename Gunner, and Codename Titan approach the CEO of the United Miner's Association, Dr. Rehm Grawford. Dr. Grawford receives them and they sit around a table. They are all currently RIGless and unarmed.

The USM Entrepreneur is currently orbiting one of Pluto's moons, Nix, at such a rate as to allay suspicion to any automated scanners.

Codename Gunner asks Dr. Grawford the usual pleasantries, to which Grawford responds in kind. Grawford then asks the trio why they wished to hold this meeting. Codename Titan replies, "To discuss some serious shit."
Grawford asks what "serious stuff" needs so urgently to be discussed at such a time, which is when Terrance takes over. Terrance explains, in great detail and with video and picture proof, the events of Titan Station, which took place four months ago. The whole regale takes exactly forty-three minutes and thirty-seven seconds to complete. When finished, Grawford sits and thinks for a half an hour, asking many questions along the way.

When he finishes speaking, Grawford begins to reflect for another nine minutes before saying that he is opening up a new branch of the USM, the AUD - Anti-Marker Department - of which he is appointing Terrance Commander, Codename Titan General, and Codename Gunner Admiral. To Codename Titan, Grawford gives control of five hundred men. To Codename Gunner, Grawford gives control of five destroyer-class vessels, one per one hundred men. The flagship USM "" is given to Terrance, as well as command of all of the AMD.

When Grawford finishes telling the trio of what he has decided, he sends them out of their office with credit chips containing 100,000 credits each and schematics for the best weapons and RIGs the USM has to offer.

Well . . . Now you know how the hell Terrance et. al. got their positions as leaders of an army. Yaay. I know, it was pathetically short. I think it's even shorter than my prologue to DS: Trio (or maybe even 'Immortal') . . .

But you get the point, right? Short story, kinda explains some stuff, keeps you occupied while we write the real big stuff . . . Fun, eh?

Oh, yeah, one last thing before I catch some Zs (I'm writing this in bed at 10:30 at night on my iPod): The short story about Terrance's first four days on The Sprawl has been cancelled and removed from the air. Sorry, but there's no point to write it, and writing it would be difficult. Maybe someone else could? It's a possibility. If you do, I'll give you props. Just don't make it TOO outlandish.

That's all! Read, Share, Reviw, Repeat! Adios!

-Love,
X-Wolf
