"Bee, you're drooling." Naya said, taking a seat next to Kevin.

Kevin jumped, snapping back to reality. The cast was on a fifteen minute break and he had spent the last twelve staring at Lea. She was beautiful. Everything about her. Her laugh, her smile, her voice. Kevin wanted nothing more than to go over to her and ask her on a proper date. But he was nervous. Why was he? The two were very close and had known each other for years. So why was this so hard? All he had to do was walk over to her and ask her on a date. If only it was that simple. Like always, Kevin's nerves had taken over and he couldn't move! What if she didn't feel the same? What if she laughed in his face? What if Cory got jealous and punched him in the face.

It was no secret that Cory had a thing for Lea. Everyone on set knew. Well, everyone except for Lea was always clueless about these types of things. It also wasn't a secret that Kevin had feelings for Lea. Naya had always known. Even before Kevin did! Chord and Grant also knew, and warned him about Cory. If Kevin did ask Lea out, he would have to face the wrath of Cory Allan Monteith. Who knows what would happen if Cory found out, and Chord and Grant told Kevin to take caution.

"I wasn't drooling." Kevin laughed awkwardly.

"Why don't you just ask her out? You've been lusting over the hobbit for months now." Naya said, not taking her eyes off of her phone.

"What about Cory?"

"Forget that Fetus Face! He's had numerous chances to go after her and he hasn't. Now it's your turn." She said.

"What if she rejects me?" Kevin sighed.

"She won't, Bee. I've seen the way she looks at you. It's the exact same way you look at her." Naya said.

"Where would I take her? I don't know any vegan restaurants."

"She's a vegetarian now." Naya giggled. "Just take her to Olive Garden or something."

Kevin sighed.

"It's now or never." She shrugged, resting her hand on his shoulder.

Kevin looked over to where Lea was. She was sitting with Dianna and Chord laughing about something. Probably about all the Disney songs Chord has on his iPod. Kevin couldn't help but smile and let out a sigh. Lea looked so beautiful. She was everything Kevin liked in a girl, and more. Now all he had to do was build up the courage and ask her out.

"This is it." Kevin stood up."

"There you go, blue tooth!" Naya said in her best Snixxx voice, making Kevin smile.

Walking over to Lea felt like it was happening in slow motion. Kevin's heart was beating faster than it ever had. This was it. Months of longing, wishing, and wanting. It all came down to this. One simple question. One simple answer. It all seemed kind of simple now. Kevin was starting to realize that asking Lea out wasn't some big challenge. Just a simple question and answer. His heart started beating at a regular pace and confidence and courage ran through his veins.

"Lea?" Kevin smiled.

"Hi, Bee! What's up?" Lea asked.

"Will you come take a walk with me? There's something I want to ask you." He said. Dianna and Chord looked at each other and smiled. They knew exactly what Kevin was about to ask.

"Sure." Lea said, and followed Kevin out of the choir room set and into the 'halls of McKinley.'

"So, what did you want to ask me?" Lea asked.

Kevin closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

"Would you like to go out sometime? Like, tomorrow night?" He asked, keeping his eyes closed. When he finally opened them, he saw Lea, smiling.

"Took you long enough!" She giggled, and hit his arm playfully. "I've been waiting you to ask me on a date for months."

"Really?"

"Yes!" Lea said.

"So, we'll go after filming tomorrow?"

"Sounds great." Lea smiled, and kissed him on the cheek.
