Lets go back to when Lara Croft was a only 17 years old.still in pigtails
and guided in adventures..
The heavy wood door of the mansion slammed behind Lara as she stormed into her multimillion-dollar mansion. As usual, there was no one home to hear her, not even a maid in sight. Sighing, she took a seat in a rather stiff uncomfortable leather chair by the library entrance. A newspaper on the floor caught her attention.
"ANOTHER MYSERTIOUS BLUE GEM FOUND IN ANATARTICA COASTEL SHORES"
She ripped the newspaper off the floor and began reading the article with much interest. Exploring was always and idea on her mind, a way to get out of the high social class society of Britain and out into the world.the dangerous world.
The story went on to explain three other gems found all over the world, this being the fourth. The historical backgrounds of the gems are unknown and still being uncovered, and museums from all over are debating the claim of these gems.
Lara remembered the one journey her father graced her to embark on, one with a guide into the tombs. The trip was based on money rather than adventure however, and many people previously toured before the tombs she ventured in. An exploration with worth was what she craved. But seventeen year olds have no worth.
The next morning Lara decided to walk to school, rather than make a big fuss again when driving in with her Porsche Carrera GT her father imported from Germany. She slowly made her way out of the yard and off on her walk to school. As Lara was walking she noticed at peculiar black car slowly trudging its way along the road, as if they were looking for something.
The car approached Lara and stopped beside her, a man opened the window, still revealing only a shadow.
"Excuse me miss" he said.eyes cast not on her face. little lower, "We are looking for Mr. Croft's residence, would you have any idea where to find it"?
Lara replied a little startled, "umm.yes.", she stopped debating whether or not to tell him she was his daughter, "his house is down the road, the large house surrounded by the fence, there is a 'C' on the gate.I do not believe he is home though.you may want to try..."
He cut her off there, "he told me to meet him today at this hour, important business, I am sure he is there I am not the person to be stood up".
"Bu---", she tried to say something, although she wasn't quite sure yet. It did not matter, however, the car already zoomed off. The man already knew that Mr. Croft was not home anyway, and he already knew that Lara was his daughter, what he didn't know is that what he was looking for was not there, but plenty of other thing were...
~This is my first story EVER,I know this one is a cliff hanger kind of but there's tonz more to come and I can promise an awesome set of chapters~
