Authors Note: Ok. Ok! You caught me! I did it again I know! I'm sorry. But I can't help myself I like it better this way. Let me know how you like the knew Vegeta.

How could she not have seen it? The signs were all there, it was starring her right in the face. She was just to naive to see it.

Yamcha. He was supposed to be the one. He said he loved her. Loved her! Looking back now she could see all of the lies and deceit he portrayed. How could he say such a thing and have it mean nothing to him?

And how was she supposed to face him. Knowing she wasn't enough for him to stick around for.

"Hey" Bulma heard a distant yet familiar voice over her soft sobs. It took her off guard so she gasped and looked up from her hands to find the face of the mysterious voice. Her crystal blue eyes met pure black and she let out a breath she didn't know she was holding.

"Vegeta?"

And there he was. Vegeta. Standing in front of her, hands in the pockets of his leather jacket, his face held the same unreadable expression it always did.

"Vegeta...what are you doing here?"

Without a word Vegeta took a few steps toward her and sat down on her left side. He pulled a pack of smokes out of his jacket pocket and placed one in his mouth. Grabbing a lighter also, he lit the cigarette and took a long drag.

"Look Vegeta I'm really not in the mood to see anyone ok? I just...I just want to be left alone."

Vegeta turned his head toward her and razed an eyebrow before turning back to look at the fireflies dancing accost the small pond. He gave no sign of leaving though. Bulma starred at him for a moment before letting out a sigh.

'That's Vegeta for you.' She thought.

After a couple minutes of silence Bulma didn't really feel like sticking around. She was just about to get up and leave when...

"He's not worth it."

Bulma turned her head to find Vegeta looking at her intently.

"What?" She asked him, more out of shock of him saying something then confusion of what he had said.

"Yamcha. He's not worth your tears. As for what he did...he didn't and doesn't deserve you. Oh and you shouldn't worry about seeing him around for a while cause, well...let's just say he had an 'accident' and will be in the hospital for about a month...or maybe two."

"What?! Vegeta what did you do?" She looked at him wide eyed.

Vegeta just smirked. Shrugging his shoulders he said, "Nothing, I said he had an accident didn't I?"

Bulma was shocked. Was he actually saying this? I mean his is Vegeta we're talking about.

"Umm...Vegeta why are you telling me this? I mean it's not like I don't appreciate it. It's just that it is really not like you to...well you know."

Vegeta gaze on Bulma strengthened. He leaned closer into her smirking more.

"You really want to know?" He asked. His voice deep and husky.

Bulma's breathing hitched as she felt him hot breath tickle the skin of her face, "Y-yes"

No sooner had the words left her lips had Vegeta pressed his firmly against hers, wrapping his arms around her and holding her close. At first Bulma was stiff. Shocked by his actions. But soon she responded, realizing that she wanted to kiss him just as much. Feeling things for him she had never felt for Yamcha.

When they finally pulled away Bulma looked him right in the eye. And she could see it. For the first time she could see an emotion in his eyes and she knew what it was.

He didn't have to say it. He didn't even have to show it. She could feel it in his kiss and see it in his eyes and that's all that mattered.
