Chapter 1

My name is Andrew. Adam and I were going to start our Pokemon journey the next day. Adam was sleeping over at my house. "Goodnight." Dad said. "Goodnight, Dad." I said. "Goodnight, Mr. K." Adam said. Dad closed the door and turned off the light. I turned on my lamp. "What Pokemon do you want to get?" I asked. "I want to get a Zapdos." Adam said. "I've always wanted a Moltres." I said. "I think fire Pokemon are cool." I turned on the TV and turned down the volume so Mom and Dad couldn't hear it. I changed the channel to the Pokemon Battle Channel. We loved that channel. A battle with a Kadabra and a Geodude was going on. Geodude gave Kadabra a hard punch in the face. "Go Geodude!" I said quietly as I could. "Go Kadabra!" Adam said as Kadabra teleported himself behind Geodude. All of a sudden, Mom came into my room. "You need to get a good rest before you go to Dr. Oak's tomorrow." Mom said. "Okay." I moaned. She turned off the TV just as Kadabra got knocked out. Then she turned off the lamp and said goodnight. "I told you Geodude was going to win." I whispered. "Oh, shut up." Adam said. I started to laugh. It was going to be a very cool day.
