Vannessa x Xavier: The Meme chronicles
Chapter one: The beggining
It started out like every other day. Xavier woke up to another infinite notifications box. He used to hate it, but he's accepted it, now that he had 30,000 followers. Once he cleared everything out, he decided to read his friends posts. After looking through for a while, he found his favorite person that he followed. "Sundae Sunday," Otherwise known as Vannessa, Catherine, Spongegar hell, and Leafy-lover, was a genuinely great girl, even without seeing her face, he still developed feelings for her, despite him being one of the many 80,000 followers she gained by that time, her not feeling the same way back, and common sense. As he looked through Sundae Sunday's posts, one stood out to him. "OH MY GOD LOOK AT THIS!" She said to him on a private post. It was a re-share of another private post, but it was a very strange kind of message.
"Hey Sundae. I know you don't really accept things from followers, and I know this is a lot to ask, but I have recently inherited a large amount of money. Now others would use it on cool houses, or fancy clothes, but I've always been into match making. I tried making an app, and even then, there's already too many of those. No, my question for you is, would you and Xavier try living together one day? My minimum price to make this happen is, pretty high. I will pay all the costs, plane tickets, rental cars, everything. Just please, try it for a year, okay?"
Xavier didn't even know what to say. "I-I-I" He replied, tagging her to it. "As much as this is unlike me," she said, "I actually think this might be fun. He said he'd fund everything, why not?" In a shocked manner, he replied again. "I mean, I'd have to pack, but if you think this could be something to look at, maybe we should try it?...I don't know, this is the first time I have ever seen ANYTHING like this. Not even on the gifs or pictures we post!" "But come on, it's only for a year," she said. "And plus, he'll cover return flights too." Not knowing what else to say, Xavier agreed. "Okay. What the hell. Tell him we said yes, okay?" And with that, our two characters finally decided to meet each other, something that they had never done before.
Author's note:
Sundae, if you're reading this, let it be known that I maaaaay or may not have a crush on you, and that this story is short. But let me know if you like this series, as I have the time to make it a full one. Many thanks for the inspiration either way!
