It all started out with this guy,
He writes a name in a notebook and they die.
But then the police started getting suspicious,
They wanted to make him sleep with the fishes.
He wasn't having that, no, no, no,
That's not the way he wanted things to go.
He needs to make the world a better place,
He needed the criminals name and face.
And then came a long a guy named L,
He started kicking up a big smell.
But this guy he really is a whiz,
He just needs to know who the hell L is.
The police were in danger that they reckoned,
They thought they could loose their lives any second.
They decided all to quit the case,
Which left the chief with a disappointed look on his face.
They all left, there was only just five,
But they didn't think they were gonna stay alive.
All of them went to work with L,
'Cause not knowing who he was wasn't going so well.
