"Hmm?"
"How many girls have you dated?"
Zuko looked up at his girlfriend incredulously.
"What kind of question is that?"
"I was just curious," Katara retorted, annoyed at his reaction, "You don't have to get all defensive."
Silence fell between them for several minutes. Zuko was the one to break it.
"Counting you? Three."
"Three?" Katara asked, "I thought it was just me and Mai."
"There was this one girl in Ba Sing – Wait. If you thought you knew, why did you ask?"
Katara merely shrugged.
"Like I said, I was just curious."
And with that, she left the office, shutting the door on a very confused Fire Lord.
