Christine stood on the roof of the Opera Populaire alone. Snow drifted around her landing in the neatly brushed spiraling brown locks. Erik walked but behind her silent on the crunching snow and taped her on the shoulder.

"May I?" He asked politely offering her his arm.

"Of course." She said taking it at first timidly but then she griped it.

Just look at you girl, standin' there beside me starlight on your hair looking like a dream I dreamed somewhere. And look at me girl, you got me actin' like a lover, in a old time picture show and how I got the part I just don't know. But it's written all across your face plain as it could be you're the one that I was lookin' for, now your all that I can see.

Erik looked down at her the light snow flakes sleeping in her curls, her liquidly chocolate brown eyes and pale skin, aglow in the moon light. Erik began to regain that warm fuzzy feeling tingling up his arm and throughout his body. He smiled faintly at her and realized how much he loved her, Erik always knew the love he had for Christine but never truly realized it.

And you mean everything to me, and I'd do anything to have you stay forever. I'm a ordinary man but I feel like I could do anything in the world, when I look at you girl.

"Christine?"

"Yes Dear Angel?" She said.

"What would it take for you to stay with me? I'd do anything to keep you. I have not much to offer I'm not but a ordinary man, but I could give you a faithful love." Golly he felt as if he could fly when he was around her.

Just look at you girl walkin' here besides me, in the misting morning light, I see my own reflection in your eyes. And you smile at me girl with eyes that tell a story and words could never stay, tellin' me your love is gonna stay. And we're standin' right together now in everything we do and if my world should come apart I'll still be lovin' you.

Erik and Christine walked in silence the rest of the night. Christine looked up at him and smiled her whole being lit up. Her eyes showed; hurt, grief, love, and trust in them. Erik looked at her and saw not her big brown eyes but him as clear as if he had looked into a mirror.

'No matter what happens to me I'll always love you.' He vowed right then and there.

And you mean everything to me, and I'd do anything to have you stay forever. I'm a ordinary man but I feel like I could do anything in the world, when I look at you girl.

Erik also vowed that if need be he would give up the Opera house for her. He would do anything to keep her with him and that's precisely what he did.
