"So are you saying it was a mass murder?" Edward Elric asked his voice a little shaky as Mustang set out the facts. "Yes in short Ed that's exactly what it was" Mustang sighed plopping down in his cushiony armed chair. "Ed I don't want to freak… well I change my mind Ed, I love scaring you but I have no idea what you're going to find on this mission" Mustang stopped his head resting in his broad hands as he collected his thoughts. "With the homunculus on the rise and the sudden disappearance of Scar I'm a little hesitant to send you" Ed's eyes widened 'Mustang never cared! About anything! So what made him so nervous about this assignment? Ed wondered. "Eh, I am sure whatever it is I can handle it Mustang" Ed boasted waving the air nonchalantly with one gloved hand. "Heh don't be so cocky Ed it's going to get you into real trouble some day" Mustang laughed shifting threw the endless mountain of papers pilled upon his desk. He finally found what he was looking for and picked up a manila folder and handed it to Ed. "That's the information for the mission" "Good luck Ed" He put in before ushering him out of his room and slamming the door behind Ed.
The boy looked back at the closed wooden door then to the folder, he opened it taking out its contents and viewing over the papers. "EH!" He gasped in shock "This mission…. It's in Risenbull!"

Alphonse sat aimlessly in a park bench just out side the gates of the central building. "Brother sure has been in there a long time" Al sighed the same empty echo that always emanated from his suit of armor giving away the emptiness inside. Al finally looked up as his brother strode forward; his blonde hair covering his eyes giving the signal that something was not good. "What happened brother?" Al asked jumping to his armored feet "What did he say?" But Ed didn't respond his forlorn look held in the surprise and dread that was kept up inside. "Brother?" Al asked again, this time Ed sort of responded he held out the manila folder. Al took the folder opening it he too let out a gasp of surprise "Brother this mission its… it's in Risenbull!" Ed nodded tears beginning to pool in the corner of his eyes. "Yeah, Al and the whole reason were checking it out is because a mass murder happened there" Alphonse stumbled back dropping the folder and all its contents "You don't think that Panaka and Winrey are?" Al hesitated "Do you?" Ed shrugged "I don't know Al but we had better get going if we wanna get this done before the first snow fall" Ed motioned towards a train that was pulling into the station. Al nodded and they both headed for the train neither one of them said a word as they silently descended onto the train. ((aww poor Elric brothers lolz))
