Looking up at Adam on stage, Allison thought her heart would break. Leaving had been the hardest thing she ever did.
Leaving all of the boys had been hard, but Adam had been worse than anybody. He was her brother, her best friend. she couldn't live without him. She needed him to live. As he sang Cryin', tears came out of her eyes. She knew why he picked that song. It was in memory of her. As he sang the last note, he looked down at her and smiled. She smiled back. Later that night as the show ended, she headed backstage to look for Adam. When she couldn't find him, she went up to Kris.

"Hey Kris." Allison said as he turned around.
"Allie." He picked her up and spun her around. "How are you?"
"I'm good. Have you seen Adam?"
"Oh yeah. He headed to his dressing room."
"Thanks Kris." She said and gave him one last hug.
"No problem Allie." He called afterward.

She hurried through the corridors of the Nokia Theater until she reached Adam's dressing room. the door was open and the light was on. She stepped in and gently knocked on the door. Adam had been sitting with his head in his hands until she came in. When he looked up, she could tell he had been crying. Allison hurried over to him.

"Adam." She said as he jumped up and crushed her in a hug. Her cheeck got hit with something wet. She now realized Adam was crying again.
"Oh Adam." She said and rubbed his back.
"Allie. It was so hard. I couldn't bear it without you there. You made life fun and happy for I woke up to you not there on Thurseday, I didn't know what to do. I missed you so much," He sobbed into her shoulder.
"Adam. It was the hardest week of my life. I missed you too much to say." She said as tears started slipping out of her eyes too. They stayed like this for a whole ten minutes not letting each other go for the whole time. When their tears stopped, they pulled away from each other. When she looked at his shirt, she laughed.
"I'm sorry Adam. i got mascara on your shirt. I'm such a dork."
"It's not a problem Allie. I can always wash it." He said softly. "Want to walk with me?"
"Yeah." He took her hand and interlaced their fingers as they walked out and into the hallway. There was complete silence while they walked until Adam spoke.
"The song I sang tonight. Cryin by Aerosmith. It was for you ya' know. It reminded me of you on Wednesday. You're my best friend Allie. I need you. I was crushed when I found out it was you who was going home. It shouldn't of been you."
"I know. It was hard to leave. I couldn't bring myself to believe that I was going to be leaving you. I cried everyday. My mom didn't know what to do with me. I figured out that the song was for me when you smiled at me up there. It was a beautiful performance Adam. Thank you. It meant a lot to me." They stopped and he pulled Allison against him.
"There is something I want to give you Allie. close your eyes." She did as she was told and heard Adam fumbling in his pocket for something.
"You don't have to give me anything Adam."
"I know. I want to. Here." She felt something cold around her neck and opened her eyes. She looked down and gasped. It was a necklace. It was a pendant on a gold chain. There was a gold capital A with a silver design along it.
"Adam, I...." She stuttered.
"Don't say anything Allie." He said. Adma leaned down and kissed her softly. She wrapped her arms around his neck and when the kiss was finished, rested her head on his chest.
"I love you Allie."
"I love you to Adam." She said as they headed back to the others hand in hand.
