Summary: McCoy overhears a rather "intimate" conversation between the Captain and his First Officer. One-Shot.
Disclaimer: (Grumbling) Not mine...(mumble mumble) wish it was...
It was just one of those long, drawn out days that had McCoy ready to gouge his eyes out. Incompitant nurses, annoying patients, and weird replicated meatloaf surprises…He was ready for a rendezvous with his bed.
And that was where he was headed, when he happened to pass by the Captain's door on the way to his quarters. And he would have kept on walking, if not for the sudden voice of Kirk yelling; "Spock!"
It came from inside the Captain's quarters.
Bones stopped dead in his tracks, his sleepy mind rebooting and jumping into overdrive. What was Jim yelling about? As Bones pondered this, he heard Spock's calm voice emanating from the Captain's quarters as well.
"Yes, Captain?"
Suddenly intrigued, Bones glanced up and down the corridor, and saw no one. Decision made, he crept up to the Captain's door and pressed his ear against it. The voices were muffled, but he could still make out their conversation.
"Could you go easy on me please? I'm still sore from last time." Jim's voice whined.
Bones furrowed his brow. Sore? Sore from what? The doctor had a slight feeling he really didn't want to know. And yet, he continued to eavesdrop.
"Are you sure, Captain?" was Spock's monotone reply.
Was it his imagination, or were they both breathing heavily? His stomach almost heaved. No. They couldn't be...Jim wouldn't...would he?
With Spock?!
"Yes, and call me Jim, wouldja? If we're going to get this close and personal, he least you could do is call me by name."
"As you wish, Jim."
"That's better. Okay, let's try this again. And please go slow..."
There was a sound of movment, and then Jim's heavy grunt.
"Sp-Spock..." he groaned. There was another sound of bodily movement, and Jim grunted again.
"Is this satisfactory for you? Or do you need me to re-adjust accordingly?"
This time, Bones's stomach did heave. Oh no. They...Jim was.
With Spock!
How could he find the Vulcan attractive in the first place??
"Just...tilt a little...give me a better angle..." Jim was panting hard now. "Oh...I'm gonna...I'm gonna..."
At this, Bones was sure his dinner was going to come back up, and he dashed off to his quarters desperately.

Inside Jim's room, Spock and he were engaged in a serious showdown...of arm wrestling. Spock was clearly winning, as Jim grunted and groaned, his face red and sweaty wth exertion.
"...I'm gonna win, you just wait!" he declared.
He lost.
Jim let out a moan of defeat, flexing his pained arm.
"You whip me everytime," he complained with a pout.
Spock lifted an eyebrow in reply.
A/N: While I absolutely love Kirk/Spock romances, I don't mind writing a solely Kirk & Spock friendship story, in which their friendship is seen as a romantic ones to people who don't trully know them. And I couldn't resist messing with Bones! XD
