Alone In The Snow
All is silent now
I watch you sleep quietly
On this lonely night.
Temptation is killing me.
You are sleeping alone on the forest floor, cold and quiet. Only me to warm you. I watch you slowly inhale and exhale as I lay beside you in the snow.
We are alone, the gate is sealed.
On this frigid night
I move up closer to you
And warm you slightly.
I move closer to you, leaving prints in the snow, and scratching my side on rocks.
As I get closer, we warm slightly, and temptation is stronger than ever.
As we slowly freeze
I pull you into my arms
And begin to cry.
I feel my body slowly shutting down.
You turn over and your chestnut eyes smile lovingly.
We embrace each other, and I begin to cry.
I feel my body
So slowly shutting down
And yours is also.
"I'll see you in heaven, okay?" I say through my tears.
"I promise to meet you there," you reply.
Embracing you in
My arms for the very last time
We fall together.
We hugged each other tightly.
"Before we go I have to do this," I say.
As if you know what I want to do, you pull your lips to mine, and we share one passionate kiss.
Temptation is gone.
"I love you Daisuke," I say.
"I love you too, Ken," you reply.
Together, we take our last breath.
In.
Out.
Gone.
OK, I am almost crying now. I'm serious. This is one of my saddest stories. I'm scared of myself.
