Blankets
Disclaimer: Neither Harry or Cedric are mine (unfortunately) I'm just playing with them for a while, neither is anything else in this that has to do with the Harry Potter books or movies, Jo owns all of it.
A/N: I don't know what inspired me to this, to many ballads on the mp3 I guess.
To Crystabelle, for always giving me support and understanding.
… And I really do love reviews. hint hint
Blankets
Harry was lying on his stomach on the bed, shaking violently, twisting and turning like never before.
"Kill the spare!"
A flash of green, Cedric's once so glittering grey eyes, flat and empty, body stiff, mouth open in an expression of surprise.
"No! Cedric!" Harry woke up with a scream, he was still shaking and tears were streaming down from his eyes, over his cheeks.
Someone came running in the hallway, the door flew open. Harry was pulled into strong arms.
"Shh… shh… Calm down love, I'm here, I'm here…" Harry looked up at the other boy, green eyes glistening from tears.
"…It was the dream again" He sobbed. Cedric stroke his hair gently.
"It's just a dream love. Nothing happened that night. I let you have the cup, remember? I told you I didn't care about the eternal glory shit. I wanted you to have it because I had already gotten my trophy." He smiled at the memory, grey eyes glittering in the semi-darkness. Harry wrapped his arms around the older boy's neck.
"But it seems so real… Don't ever leave me again Cedric." He whimpered.
"Not even for an extra blanket? Because that was what I was looking for." Cedric smiled again, finally making Harry forget the bad dream and smile back.
"Top drawer in the wardrobe." Harry told him. "Take the one with the Hufflepuff crest." Cedric quirked an eyebrow.
"Not much for being a Gryffindor patriot I hear." He chuckled and went to fetch the blanket.
"Not as long as you are here." Harry answered at his return.
"Does that mean I get to throw the others out? For I'm planning on staying quite a while Mr. Potter" Cedric said, spreading the blanket over Harry's legs before crawling into bed himself.
"Well… I might use them when you're out shopping…" Harry reflected.
"Firstly, who says we can't go shopping together? Secondly, you know as well as I do that if I by some reason would leave you an hour or so, you would miss me so darn much that you'd take the Hufflepuff blanket and crawl up in my side of the bed, waiting for my return." He argued teasingly.
"I would not! And since when do you have a side of your own in my bed?"
"Would to… And that would be since I moved in with you, and started shagging you in our bed. The right side is mine by the way."
"You, you… " Harry tried
"…horrible Hufflepuff hottie?" Cedric suggested before placing a light kiss on his lover's lips. Harry moaned and leaned in to the kiss.
" 'xcept for the horrible then…" Harry mumbled. Cedric just smiled.
