Dawn crept over the Pearl, stirring Will awake. The ship swayed; rum met his nose. The filthy scents of used hay, manure, and Brown's intoxication were gone. His body didn't hurt but was warmed and glowing with love. Will smiled as he gazed upon his sleeping lover's handsome face.
He was no longer in the stables. He was where he belonged. He was in Heaven; he was with Jack!
"Mornin'." Jack returned Will's gaze and ran his fingers through his hair. "Luv ye!"
"I love you!" Rejoicing, Will greeted his love and day with a long, slow, and sweet kiss.
