WORK IN PROGRESS!
The First Night
Faith and Darla Fanfic.
Yes I know that Darla and Faith have never meet, but I always had a fascination with these two that I just had to.
That first night I wanted everything to be special. I had rose petals on the bed, where I planned to make sweet love to her. She was special; everything had to be perfect tonight. The table was set up for two, flower, candles, fine china, as fine as I could find. I had never felt like this for anyone before, I wanted her to know just how much I loved her. She came in the door, I was ready. She walked in, dark leather trousers, a silk red halter and a leather jacket. My mouth dropped open as I walked to her taking her in my arms I leaned in kissing her softly, brushing my lips against hers, welcoming her home. She pushed back a bit; I swallowed the hurt that shot through my heart. She looked around and laughed.
"God Faith, how pathetic are you?"
I looked down then back up to her. She was right, I was a bad ass slayer, now that I'm a vampire; I should be all grr and evil. I didn't know what was wrong with me. I looked up at her and starred. Her blonde hair flowed just past her shoulders. God she looked gorgeous.
"I'm sorry… Darla… It's just that…" God I was stuttering, I never stuttered. I was always the one making people stutter. What was this girl's power over me?
"Faith shut up. You're babbling again. It's very unbecoming of a vampire. Especially one of your importance's, you're the slayer-vamp, start acting like it."
Darla walked over to the coat rack, peeling off her jacket throwing it on the rack before walking into the dinning room of their mansion.
"God damn it Faith. What is all this shit?" She asked questioningly as her hand aimed towards the table with flowers and candles.
"Um… it's was… is… for you…" I was stuttering again. God am I such a fool for thinking she would like it.
"Faith… why?" She stood there still as a statue, her eyes locked on the black and blood red rose in the vase centered on the table.
I looked up at her, wondering if I heard her right. She sounded slightly touched by the gesture I thought I was mistaken. "I did it for you. I wanted… I wanted to show you how much… how much I loved you." I looked back down not wanting to see the look of disgust on her face.
It was quite for a long time, or so is seemed like it. Finally she walked over, I heard her steps, and stood right in front of me. I continued looking down ashamed that I wasn't the vampire she wanted me to be, and then she did something totally out of character. She tilted my head up with her hand, smiled, and kissed me. It was deep and passionate, something, again, completely out of character. She slid her hand down my cheek before breaking the kiss, looking me dead in the eyes. What I saw I'll never forget. I saw love, deep passionate love. I leant in and kissed her again. She smiled and took my hand leading me towards the table. I followed slowly after her, not really having a choice, wondering what she was up to. She turned me, my back towards the table pressing me up against it; I continued looking her in the eyes, those deep blue eyes. God did I love her eyes, could stare into them for hours.
