Disclaimer: I do not own Yugioh and Hamilton. This fanfic is inspired by Hamilton. The song, "Who lives, who dies, who tells your story" made me draw the parallel between Atem's and Alexander's legacy. Both of them contribute so much for their country, yet history has forgotten them. It took their friends and rivals to make their legacy heard. This first chapter is inspired by "Alexander Hamilton".

Sand blew away in the empty, vast land as the flaps of the birds broke the silence. If one has a keen ear, one can hear the whispers of ancient stories from the dead.

At last! The world is at peace because of our savior, the nameless pharaoh. He sacrificed his life for us. In doing so, he vanished evil from our land.

No longer do we live in fear.

Because of him, we are safe. Rejoice for the nameless pharaoh! The man that sealed away the evil! Our hearts become lighter and our future become brighter!

This man, he is so brave! I heard that he saved a servant from a snake! How noble of him!

His stare can pierced the darkest soul of humans. Once, he battled against the evil priest and save us.

No longer do we fear for the monster. It is gone forever.

It is not gone.

A female voice echoed in the land of the dead; nothing is spoken by the dead as they stood stood still for the human who unexpectedly entered through the sacred land. The phrase left an ominous tone in the void. Yet the voice itself is comforting, reminding them of old scrolls, spells, loyalty, and wisdom. She spoke their mother's tongue, generations of their voices passed through time. Although parts of her speech are foreign to the dead, no doubt that she is the key of maintaining their people's history.

The monster lies beneath the pharaoh's soul. It will awaken once the person solves the puzzle. Even if evil is sealed, it cannot be contained so long the deed is unfinished. The pharaoh lives in limbo, unable to move to the afterlife and is doomed in this state until the boy will set him free. His soul is lost in the labyrinth of the puzzle. He cannot remember his name, his purpose, and his duty because he paid the price that few people would agree. His identity and memories were gone not only from books, but from his people.

No one remembered him. The lives he saved and touched his people.

Until now.

Then, interloper, who are you?

My name is Ishizu Ishtar. I am a tombkeeper for the nameless pharaoh. I was once like you, forgot about him. My family and I served for him and assisted the chosen one to guide the pharaoh to the afterlife. Now that the pharaoh completed his duty and is currently in the afterlife, my role as a tombkeeper has cease. I am now a curator in my world, preserving our culture and passing to the future generations so that he will never be forgotten.

Are you the sole teller?

It is not me who tells the past to you, there are others who will tell the story of the nameless pharaoh. I am honored to have the power to share them with you.

Very well then. Since you are our kinship and possess no malovent powers, we permit you to stay in our realm.

Tombkeeper of the pharaoh, please share your story of the nameless pharaoh and the people that assist to restore his legacy.

We begin from the first person that encountered the pharaoh. A boy named Yugi Mutou who solved the Millennium puzzle…

A/N: Well I finished the first chapter! Next one is Yugi Mutou. I will write Anzu, Seto, Aknamkanon, Ishizu, and more! I am very excited for this project and I hope that I can keep the momentum going!
