"Eat" he says as he hands her a token of affection.
He hands her a small gold foiled treat. She smiles broadly, almost an unladylike grin. She quickly unwraps the sticky sweet her suitor gave her.
Placing the caramel in between her ruby colored lips she eats half of it daintily.
Slowly she places the other half in her suitor's mouth. As he groans as the saccharine sweeps across his tongue, she sighs. Licking the remains off her forefinger she closes her eyes in happiness.
She glances back up at him.
"Thank you"
She utters the word very softly trying to hand it to him like a present.
"Very welcome dearest lady " says her lover as he kisses her hand and bids her adieu.
Her eyes shine brightly as she watches him leave still sitting on the bench in the wild jungle like garden.
"Isabella!" Her nursemaid's voice calls to her.
"Isabella!" She smooths out the golden foil into a crisp square, tucks it in her green sash and exit's the small alcove through the hedge maze.
