Typing away on the new laptops they had finally broken down and bought they were currently looking through maps and their dad's journal tracking their next move and where they needed to go.

As they picked their next destination Sam was looking for weird news stories that was associated with towns along the way and their destination.

Just then the doorbell chimed over the diner and a very cute small boy of about five or six walked up and says "ex.excuse me sirs."

Sam and Dean gave him their attention "what is it kid?"

"Well um, are you Sam Winchester?" he asked nervously.

Looking at each other Sam nods wondering if Maybe he needed them for a supernatural problem.

"Yes, Kid that's me now where's your mom?" he asked carefully.

The child looked down at his feet before saying

"Hi, my name is Jackson Winchester, I'm your son."

Sam nearly hyperventilated "you're my..but kid I don't have a son." he responds in shock.

"Six years ago did you know a woman by the name of Kasey Tidley?" he asked.

Sam gasped as the name was indeed familiar.

Looking at Dean he said "yeah she was my girlfriend just before I started dating Jessica. I broke up with her when I caught her kissing another girl."

"So is it possible the kid is yours?" Dean asked carefully.

Sam nods "it is, I slept with Kasey three times we use protection during most but the condom broke."

Dean looked the kid over "well in a sense he does look like you."

Sam looked around "where is your mom?"he asked.

The child looked at Sam "At home, I came to find you after a lady told me that you deal with strange things cause something's wrong with my mommy."

Sam knelt in front of him kindly still hardly believing he could be his. "tell me what's happening."

The child looks up at his father through his thick hair "for a few months now she's been acting strange like not herself at all like at first she only did little things sleeping during the day and she'd forget to go to work.. But now she scratches at her face and her eyes screaming at nobody saying stuff like get out"

Sam thought about it and pulled the clearly terrified child into his chest and hugged him even though he still hasn't come to terms with it.

He looked at Dean pleading with his eyes.

"If this really is my son then their family and we've always had our family's back." Sam reasoned.

Dean surprisingly nodded "you're right if this kid is yours then we need to check this stuff out."

Sam picked up the kid and carried him as they three walked out to the car.

Sitting out on a bench a Castiel is reading the current newspaper.

Putting it down he stood stretched and then notice Jackson in Sam's arm.

"What's this? You find this cute little bundle on the internet?" Castiel jokes.

Sam shook his head "well apparently he's my son."

Castiel whistled "oops."

Sam looked at Castiel with piercing glaring eyes "don't say that trust me if he's really mimes there's no oops involved because I will find a way to support him and his mother..I will figure things out."

Sam buckled Jackson into a seat and sits in the back with him and allowed Castiel to sit up front with Dean.

He wanted to keep an eye on and get to know the kid that was supposed to be his.
