I've had this idea for something in my head for a while. It was mostly inspired by Puck's face in the "Proud Mary" number. Nothing too long, but wanted to get it down on paper. Enjoy!

Puck wanted to make one thing very clear. He did NOT like this shit. He did not like singing and dancing and smiling like a fool as he moved across the stage. There was no joy to be found as he sang these dumb song he could have cared less about. He didn't like it when he sang Journey or when he had to roll around to "Proud Mary" or any of those songs.

The only reason he ever cracked a smile in one of these cheesy routines is he knew it was easier than Mr. Schuester yelling at him. Again. At least when Coach Tanaka yelled at him there was some sort of repercussion. Laps. Chin ups. Sled drills. Anything real. Schue just yelled. And then said do it again. And really, Puck felt kind of bad for the guy. He thought he had all this power, but really, that curly headed dude had none. So he faked this dumb ass smile because why make Schue pretend again that he had power. It was just pathetic.

Puck also wanted to make it clear that his smile had nothing to do with Rachel Berry and her short skirts or fitted sweaters. He did not care about impressing her anymore. She dumped his badass. His badass was fine. His badass made cougar's panties drop. And if she was so hung up on Finn and his goofy ass smile and lanky body and not as awesome voice, that was her problem. Someday she'd realize her mistake, because no, he wasn't going to dump her. Maybe she wouldn't let him touch her boobs, but he had left out the key word in his statement – yet. A badass like him with guns like those? She'd give in to his charm eventually.

But no one dumped Noah Puckerman. So he said he was going to dump her. And if anyone was stupid enough to question that, they'd get a black eye.

And if Berry thought he was still hung up on Quinn, that was her problem too. He wasn't. He was hung up on the idea of not being his dad and being a part of this pregnancy, if anything. Not his problem what she thought though. Because she was Rachel Berry. And who cared what Rachel Berry thought, anyway? She was a freak. She didn't deserve those slushies in the face, but she was still a freak.

A freak with a hot ass.

And nice legs.

For a midget, she had to be ninety percent legs. Because those were hot.

But that was beside the point. The only time Puck smiled, like really smiled, when he sang was when there was a guitar in his hand and he was playing a half decent song. And half of these glee songs did not rate on the positive side of Puck's song ranking scale. He half expected someone to put a song from "Annie" in his hands one of these days.

Not that he knew the "Annie" songs.

Okay, he did, but that was Sarah's fault.

And it wasn't like he LIKED singing those songs for her. But it made her happy. And not a lot made his kid sister happy. So he sang those. But it wasn't like he liked doing that. Just so everyone was clear.

But that was beside the point. What he liked and did not like at home was completely different from what he liked and did not like in the real world.

And just so everyone was clear – he did NOT like this performing bullshit.

That was his story and he was sticking to it.
