EDIT 4/25/10: As I've gotten many complaints, I feel I should address this situation now. It's actually been so long since I wrote this, I can't honestly say whether or not I intentionally lifted this scene from Ouran High School Host Club.
However, assuming I did, I do not own the basic plot of this story. That belongs to Bisco Hatori. I'm simply borrowing it for sheer happiness at seeing TsuSoka Hurt/Comfort. Thanks~ Aura
A/N: Yay! My first Yami No Matsuei fanfic is done!! Me so happy!! I know it's short, but it comes solely from boredom. *Cough* Anyways...
Hisoka: *Sigh* Aura-san owns nothing. In fact, I think she doesn't even own that closet.
Aura: If I did own Yami no Matsuei... More things like this would happen.
I hated it so much.
I was happy my older partner was out, glad he wouldn't see me like this. He'd just laugh irritatingly, seeing me like this. My green eyes closed, my hands clapping over my ears. I cringed in disgust at myself again. It was disgusting that I, a Shinigami, would have such trivial fears. The noise faded, but I did not leave the closet in which I had shut myself.
The next sound made me jump and scream slightly again, but it wasn't the thunder. The rain hit the hardwood floor as the door opened, and I tried to be quiet. The light was flicked on, golden illumination pouring through the cracks under the door.
"Hisoka?" My name fell from his lips like water might flow over a hill.
"Hisoka!" He began to sound frantic, and I couldn't help but to call out.
"I-I'm right here!" I yelled. The thunder crashed again, and I fought the urge to scream again. I heard my partner walk to the wardrobe. The handles shook as he attempted to get in. His emotions swirled, all pointing to one question.
'What are you doing in there?'
The thunder crashed harder, and this time I did scream. The doors flew open, and I felt arms wrap around my shaking body. The room was illuminated by the lightning, and I felt myself crying slightly. The older man didn't waver, just held me tightly.
We stayed like that until the storm quieted.
When it did, Tsuzuki pulled himself slowly away from me and kissed my forehead. I practically melted under this touch, and began muttering gibberish as my face flushed.
"Next time there's a storm, let me know." He said, standing up. He walked to the doorway of the bedroom, then turned back, his purple eyes wild and shining.
"Because you're kinda cute when you're scared." Tsuzuki winked, and left the room
Remind me to kill him later, will ya?
A/N: I hope you liked it! R&R, pwease!!
This story was pretty pointless, just so you know. It was mainly to say 'Hey, guess what, I'm not dead!'. School's just metaphorically killing meh....
