Even if she didn't show it, didn't want to show it… she loved him.
Had they not been forced together at every opportunity, continuously spied on, their efforts at making a relationship work always sabotaged… maybe it could have worked out.
Maybe she could have had a life with him, one that she would have cherished and loved.
But she knows this is impossible.
Has always known that it was impossible, ever since he rescued her from Saffron.
Chaos follows him around, shrouds him like a cloak, and makes his life an unending chaotic hell.
She stopped wanting a life with him, because she didn't want a life like that.
She couldn't deal with a life like that.
As she stares at his bloody, lifeless body and the small white envelope lying next to him, she realizes that Ranma couldn't either.
