Ally Dawson sat on the piano bench in her practice room with her head in her hands; tears were silently streaming down her cheeks. She was waiting for her partner Austin Moon to arrive so they could work on some new songs for him. While the brunette loved spending time with Austin, she wasn't sure she was in the mood right now. With her recent breakup with her boyfriend Leo and her lingering feelings for Austin, she wasn't sure she could handle writing a song.

Austin and Ally had only gone on one date and had agreed to remain friends afterwards, but Ally couldn't deny that she still had feelings for the blonde rock star and treasured every minute they spent together. Ally knew her feelings for Austin had grown stronger. In fact, the songwriter was almost positive she had fallen in love with him.

"Hey Ally" Austin's cheerful voice greeted her as he entered the practice room.

"Hi Austin," Ally sniffed.

Austin's smile turned into a frown as he realized his Ally was crying. Yes, his Ally. It didn't take Austin long to realize that his feelings for Ally weren't going away any time soon, if ever.

"What's wrong Ally-cat?" Austin asked sitting himself down next to her and putting his arm around her. He brushed a stray tear away with his thumb.

"Leo broke up with me," she sighed. Austin subconsciously clenched his fist. He never liked that Leo guy, especially since he started dating Ally after she and Austin broke up.

"I'm sorry Als," it broke his heart in two to see his Ally-gator hurt like this. "But he's is a jerk for breaking up with you. That guy doesn't know what he's missing, you're awesome." (1)

Ally gave him a weak smile.

"He said I wasn't pretty enough for him," she confessed, looking down at her hands. During the time they had been talking they had unknowingly scooted closer to each other on the piano bench. Austin's arm was still around Ally's shoulders and her head had begun to fall onto his muscular chest.

"What!?" Austin exclaimed. "That's not true."

"I don't even know why I care so much," Ally admitted. "I'm always telling people that looks don't matter, but here I am crying my eyes out because some guy said I'm not pretty enough for him."

"You're pretty enough," Austin insisted. "You're pretty both inside and out. You're beautiful, Ally."

"Thanks Austin, but you don't have to say that just to make me feel better."

"I'm not just saying it Als, I mean it," he placed a finger under her chin and turned her head so their eyes met. Ally looked into his big brown eyes and knew he was telling the truth. Both teens slowly started to lean in, Austin never taking his eyes off of her soft brown curls or full pink lips.

"You're the most beautiful girl in the world," he breathed as he closed the gap, giving her a soft sweet kiss. When they pulled away, Ally looked up at him with her big doe eyes.

Austin scratched the back of his neck nervously.

"I, uh, might still have some feelings for you," the singer confessed. "Ally, I'm-I'm in love with you. I know we agreed to just be friends but my feelings for you never went away and it hurt me to see you so sad and you just looked so beautiful and I just couldn't help myself."

"I love you too," Ally smiled. "My feelings for you never went away either."

"So…will you go out with me…again?" Austin asked.

"Yes," Ally smiled as she closed the gap and kissed him again.
