C.T.K: This is a sequel to Martialartsmaster's story "I miss you". Revised edition.

I Miss You, Too.

At the current moment, Ripple Star, the planet of the fairies, was at peace. The palace was bathed in moon light. Its fairy inhabitants slept the night away, all but the fairy that had saved their world, whose sleep could be called anything but peaceful.

When Ribbon had helped Kirby beat 02, she had been made a hero. The Queen had promoted her to Crystal Guardian. Ribbon had the honor of being the first Crystal Guardian after such a long period of peace. Since then, she had been training to hone her skills as a marksman and harness the powers of the Crystal Blaster.

Being the Crystal's guardian, she had been moved to a nice sized chamber behind the Crystal. Yet even with the excellent sleeping quarters, a good night's rest still evaded her grasp. She sighed as she sat up in her bed. As she curled a strand of her pink locks, she thought of how she got to her recent position, more specifically, the pink hero who helped her saves her home.

She wondered if it was fate, destiny, or just pure dumb luck that she had happened to fall onto Kirby's head. A sad smile came to her face. He had seen her crying over her failure to protect the Crystal and had made it his personal mission to help her find the pieces. Maybe, that's when she had fallen for him. Maybe not fallen, but it definitely had an effect on her.

With the adventure that had ensued, it just confirmed to her how great Kirby was. He was kind, courageous, forgiving, and cute. And at this point in time, she had to admit she loved him.

Unfortunately, there were problems with falling in love with heroes. You become a weakness to them. And, if she knew Kirby as well as she thought she did, he would be so concerned about her, that he would put his own life in danger. Even though Ribbon, with her new training, was quite capable of taking care of herself, Kirby would still worry. It was just in his nature.

This was all assuming he loved her, too. She sighed again before climbing out of bed and taking flight. As she exited her room, her body was bathed in the gentle glow of the Crystal. Another sigh escaped her mouth as she put her hand on the Crystal. Her heart was hurting and not even the Crystal, which usually had a soothing effect on those who touched it, could help. She really missed the puffball.

Suddenly, the Crystal shined. Ribbon shielded her eyes from the light. When it died down, she looked to see an image displayed in the Crystal. The image was of Kirby in bed. He appeared restless in his thoughts. As the image progressed, he seemed to relax. He then spoke before succumbing to sleep.

"Oh, I miss you."

Ribbon's eyes watered. Although it was never spoken, she could feel that it was directed at her. She touched the Crystal and whispered.

"I miss you, too."

With these words she turned away, a teary smile on her face. The Crystal's glow died, the image disappearing. Ribbon returned to her room, sleep finally overtaking her.
