Author's Note:

Just before I get this story started I want to say some things about the story and problems that will occur later down the line.

One: This is one of those stories where Lisanna is totally OOC. Tbh I really didn't want Lisanna to be the villain but I had little choices. I wanted the villain to be a person with a close connection (Shippable connection) with Nastu in the actual story and only 3 people have that connection. Lucy who is part of the ship of this story anyway, Lisanna who is the villain since I have no choice (Nalu fans please don't hate on Lisanna she's such a sweet character) and Erza... yeah remember tower of heaven? You guys see I had no choice.

Two: My writing styles have completely changed from the way it was a few years back. This story is based, no it is a remake of my story trust worthy I wrote. Lemme just say that shit was just cringe, I will post the original first chapter if I get 350 reviews it's a stretch but I know we can do it.

Three: I am from England and I know 80% of the people who will read this will be American and as you know there are slight differences in our languages.

So there are some problems about the story that may cause minor or drastic issues (Let's hope its minor or none at all) I am planning each chapter to have 2-3k words of the main story I each chapter and around 15 chapters (Maybe more ;) oh no I have to say this so there's not 2 brackets) Anyway I should stop babbling and get to the story.

Chapter One: Brand New Day

Date: Monday | September 5th | x784 | 6:00 AM

The sunlight pierced through the windows oozing down the blinds and crawled up Lucy's face. She groaned in frustration and hid under her duvet. Her alarm clock had went off just as she shut her eyes to return to the dream she was having "God fucking dammit can't I just have a little rest?" she moaned groggily. Then it hit her she gasped and got feeling energetic as ever "Oh my goodness! How could I forget? Today is going to be my first day going to a public school of magic! And it's my dream school too, The Fairy academy or Fairy Tail High some people call it." She got up fixing her messy blonde hair and tip toed to the bathroom trying not to wake her farther up.

Once she got out of the shower she waited for herself to dry naturally so she went to the kitchen in her pink warm towel. Ms Sphetto had already made her avocado toast and iced orange juice "Thank you Ms Sphetto," Lucy lifted her plate and paced to the home room. She sat down and turned on the television lacrima "A dangerous criminal has escaped the Bosco prison and is now roaming around Hargeon..." Lucy wasn't paying much attention to the news she was enjoying the texture of the green paste and crispy bread too much.

Once she had finished she headed back to her room and got dressed. The Fairy Academy was forced to have their students where crummy uniforms because the school was causing too much trouble. A white shirt and a dull grey blazer with red outlining with the Fairy Tail emblem on the left of the front part of the jacket. Boys and girls could wear grey trousers black socks and formal foot-wear but girls also could wear a red skirt with white knee high socks or tights with black flats. And knowing Lucy she chose the skirt.

She was about to call cancer to do her hair but she checked time and she was running late "Shit! 6:30 already? I'm gonna miss my train, oh well guess I'll have to let my hair down." Lucy grabbed her grey Fairy Tail acrostic bad and buckled on her belt which contained her House and Spirit keys and her Fleuve d'étoiles (Her whip). Before she left she grabbed a book she had just started reading called the E.N.D.

The book was dusty, old and brown tinted ripped pages, not to mention the book was heavy ; seriously it felt like she was carrying a boulder. She flipped her golden key and called out "Now pass through gate of the maiden..." She bent down tapping the shining stellar key on the floor "Virgo!" A girl with deep sea blue eyes and fuchsia hair came out of the ground; she wore a maiden's outfit with chains around her arms. "Do you wish to punish me princess?" she asked as she bowed down to Lucy "No Virgo! Quit asking! I would like you to help me carry my book to school" She replied."That is a fine punishment princess," Virgo's eyes glimmered "You know what I don't have time for this, yes Virgo it is a fine punishment" Lucy sighed as she grabbed her house keys and her leather jacket and strolled out the house.

7:00 AM

"Get up!" no movement. "I said get up!" A boy with deep dark hair gazed onto his sleeping brother. His night sky eyes narrowed in frustration as his tanned brother wouldn't get up "GET UP!" He screamed pulling his brother out of bed and dragging him across the room. His skin scraped round the fluffy red carpet floors. The tanned teen woke up with low groan "What the hell? I'm up; I'm up" he groaned jolting up from the friction of the carpet onto his skin "Is it really a new school year already? How's it feel to be a senior Zeref?" The boy scratched his rough tangled salmon hair. "Even though I haven't experienced it quite yet, I still feel exited. How do you feel about being a junior- Natsu?" He asked "Eh- not as good as being kings of the school" Natsu replied tugging on his uniform "Our father made you breakfast because he knows you will clean out the whole fridge, as for me, I will be on my way to school. I will see you later" Zeref said leaving the room 'That Zeref, he's always so formal' the pinkette thought to himself.

Natsu walked down the oak spiral stair case and into the kitchen. The small circle dinning lay a white plate with scrambled eggs bacon and toast on it; Igneel had went back to bed so Natsu pigged out on the remaining eggs and bacon in the fridge with it. He looked at the time "Shit, I'm late!" he exclaimed grabbing his rucksack and ran out. Natsu's home was on the edge of the city of magnolia so Hargeon was close by, "Crap, I forgot my lunch... Hargeon sells lots of steaks so maybe I could get one there..." The teen with spiky pink hair jogged in the opposite direction of his school and went in towards Hargeon. He took his special route to Hargeon which was quick, efficient and had an amazing view: Lush green plants, vibrant petals sprouting everywhere and the suns shine blended with the breeze creating golden shining winds. The air wasn't too thick but wasn't too thin it felt good like a towel fresh from the dryer. Natsu inhaled slowly making sure feeling every air molecule going down his bronchioles (Lol science) and exhaled with a dreamy tone to it.

Meanwhile

The blonde and the pinkie strolled down the streets of Hargeon just after getting off the Heartfillia express. The masochist maid with fuchsia hair caught her eye on a sparkling silver key on display of a little wizard's store. "Look Princess a gate key," the blonde's chocolate brown eyes gazed upon the shining stellar key in window's display as her mouth opened gasping in awe "And it's gate of the little dog too! He's so cute I have to buy it." The blonde squealed racing into the store.
"So you want the gate of the little dog ay? They aren't very strong, are you sure you want it?" The shop keeper asked "I know, but they're so cute! So how much is it worth?" she asked with a goofy grin on her face "That will be 20000 jewel" "I'm Sorry what?" "I Said that'll be 20000J" Lucy then sat on the counter with half her body, one leg bent up showing off her curves and her arms behind her head while she winked "Now tell me how it's worth" she said in a seductive way with a giggle.

Natsu walked out of the store and he was about to jog back to magnolia when he heard a scream.

"Virgo! Can you believe this shit? He only knocked off 1000J he wouldn't recognise true beauty if it kicked him in the balls!" Lucy stormed down the street in frustration "Princess, he was a old man I don't think anyone's sex appeal would work on him." The maiden replied. "Hey Blondie," A grown man with raven hair grinned at her wrapping his arm around her neck "Don't you wanna be mine?" He asked in a dreamy way. "Are you fucking serious." Lucy really didn't mind when men hit on her but this dark haired freak with a purple cape was physically touching her. The man must've thought she was in shock and couldn't believe that he was asking her out because he was acting as if she didn't just reject him "It's your lucky day-" "Are. You. Fucking. Serious." She repeated herself. A few over men came and grabbed Lucy and Virgo and pushed them into the back alley way. They tied up Virgo and pinned her towards the wall. If only Lucy was more alert she could've fought them off. The group of tall buffed men hand cuffed her with anti magic seals and now she definitely couldn't win. was screwed. If only she had remembered she could use star dress. She just had realised a little too late.

The man clenched his fist his arms and raised his tanned hard knuckles in front of Lucy's face. Lucy screamed trembling in fear "W-who are you?" she stuttered "The names salamander," "Salamander? Salamander of fairy tail?" "That's the name don't wear it out." The blonde starred at him in confusion. Why would Salamander do this? He was a good school, it's not like fairy tail high was a dark academy which rebelled against the council. "W-why are you d-doing this? You're a g-good person!" The raven haired man held up her pale chin and looked deeply into her eyes with a smirk forming on his lips "Am I now?" a silver ring on his ring finger glowed and the pink heart let out a beam of light and released a form of gas.

Lucy started to feel uneasy as the thudding from her chest was now becoming audible. Her heart rate was increasing rapidly as her face tinted pink and was getting deeper and deeper into a rosier colour. In the spam of 10 seconds her face was full on red. What was the feeling? Getting hot and uneasy heart melting down the more she looked at this man. She had to fight it "Now follow me young lady," "No, no. I-I won't!" she cried struggling. The man raised his eyebrows "Now that's not how a wife talks to her husband" "W-wife, I'm not even- AAAAAGH!" She screamed whilst tears streamed down her cheeks. The man had kicked her ankle with his metal stud boots "P-please stop this... I lo- LOATHE you!" She tried fighting the magic but it was too strong. She would be captured by this man and not get to fairy tail.

"Don't you mean love, my princess?" the man grinned. Lucy tried once more to struggle out of the group of men's grip but it was no use. She sighed in defeat excepting fate. All of a sudden a young man with a head full of pink hair and tanned skin wearing the fairy academy uniform pounced from the ground. His tie was swapped for a scaly white scarf and he didn't wear a blazer so his shirt had the fairy tail emblem. "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!?" He roared.

Natsu walked out of the store and he was about to jog back to magnolia when he heard a scream. He rushed toward the direction he heard the scream from. He sharply turned the corner into a back alley and scanned the place; he saw a blonde girl being tortured by a dark haired main in a purple cloak. He sprang up clenching his fists as he heard him use The Fairy Academy's name in vain and Natsu had never seen the guy in his life. Nastu knew everyone in the school so it really pissed him off "JUST WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?" he roared moving his fist in the direction of his face. In a matter of seconds his heated knuckles made contact with his face. The Impact blasted him toward the floor and only god knows how physics pushed him up in the air.

Lucy looked at him and suddenly stopped feeling so strange. She gasped as the pinkette swung the guys holding her down and shoots them off into to the air. "THERE'S NO WAY IN HELL YOU'RE SALAMANDER BECAUSE I AM!" The pink haired teen made a circle with his fingers and placed them over his lips "FIRE DRAGONS... ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!" a blizzard of flames bit at the thugs sending them flying like a shooting star. The pink haired male dropped down looking the blonde.

"You alright?" He asked scratching his head "I am I can thank you enough. You don't know how grateful I am," She got up attempting to shake his hand when she dropped screaming in pain only to be caught by the salmon boy. "You sure? That leg of yours looks real bad." he looked closely at it "Looks like you've sprained it." "I won't be able to get to school at this rate" She sighed "Where are ya goin'?" he asked "Fairy Academy..." she replied "You're just in luck! That's where I'm goin'! Mind telling me your name?" She starred at him for a brief moment "L-Lucy." "Lucy... huh? Well les' get going Lucy!" he picked her up placing her on his back and took off.
Natsu stopped when he saw a girl in a maiden's costume tied up "Who's that?" He asked scratching his head. "That's Virgo my celestial spirit, can you untie her?" "Sure" he replied placing her down to untied the other pinkette. "That was close princess," She said without expression "Yeah, it was" she sighed in relief "Princess?" Natsu looked at her in uncertainty "Oh, no that's just a nickname." She explained. Natsu put Lucy back on his back and Virgo walked beside them.

They casually walked through Natsu's special shortcut. The sun had fully risen so the shining breezes were at their brightest "This place is amazing..." Lucy gasped in awe "Yep, it's my special shortcut." "Say, uh, sir you never told me your name." Lucy asked tugging the back of his collar "Oh, I might as well tell ya about myself, name's Natsu Dragneel I'm in the junior year of The Fairy Academy." "That means we're in the same class" "I can tell ya lots of stuff about me like I don't go well with vehicles or I practice dragon slaying magic but I wanna know stuff about you." He said looking back at her. Lucy slightly adjusted her hands which were around the pinkette's neck for support "As you know my name is Lucy Heartfillia-" Natsu stopped dead in his tracks.

"Lucy Heartfillia? You mean the daughter of that guy who is one of the richest in Fiore?" Natsu's jaw dropped in disbelief "Now that I think of it you look a lot a whole lot like him!" "Pfft its not big deal. As I was saying I am indeed the Lucy Heartfillia, but don't treat me like some kind of princess. This is the first time I've been treated as regular Lucy." Lucy paused "Well except when I summon Aquarius..." Natsu looked back at her "Aquarius? Who's that?" "Oh Aquarius she's spirit too just like Virgo-" "Wait so ya mean that maid over there isn't human!?" Lucy face palmed as a reaction to his comment "I literally told you like 10 minutes ago ya dunce!" Lucy scolded him "But she looks so real..." "I'm really starting to worry about your intelligence," Lucy sighed.
"Anyways wanna meet her?" Lucy asked "Sure," "Alright go to that pond over there I'll show you." Natsu walked over to the little lake. It was clear as glass and was full of rich white sand and goldfish. Lucy yanked out her stellar key from her leather belt "Open Gat of the-" Lucy hesitated "Is something wrong?" Virgo and Natsu said in unison "Well... she's a bit moody..." Lucy said quietly "No biggie I wanna meet her since you brang her up" "I believe the correct word is 'brought' Sir Natsu" said Virgo "Yeah, yeah just summon her already!" He looked over to Lucy "Alright then... Gate of the Water Bearer! Aquarius!"

A giant blue haired mermaid appeared out of thin air. She had deep blue eyes and fair skin and looked in a good mood, how could Lucy say she was 'moody', then all off a sudden she was pissed "JUST WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING YOU ANNOYING LITTLE BRAT?" she screamed hurting their ear drums "I can see how you call her moody-" Natsu attempted to whisper "MOODY? IS THAT AN INSULT? I'll have you know little girl that I am NOT moody. You're just annoying" She spat "Long time no see, Aquarius" Virgo said with a blank face "I literally saw you this morning." "Oh," Lucy gazed into Aquarius eyes "What." "I wanted to introduce you to my new friend Natsu." Aquarius looked at her with a straight face and then broke into Laughter "Little Lucy trying to seduce a man" She puffed wiping a tear off her face "There's no point Lucy I bet he already has a girlfriend."
"Huh," Natsu said sheepishly "I do NOT like him like that, He's just a friend." "Sure Lucy, call when you have a... boyfriend" She emphasised the last word and returned back to the spirit word "Why do even summon her?" Lucy sighed "Well, wanna go to school Luce?" Natsu asked "Luce?" "Ye that's you're nickname," "Oh okay, let's go to school" The blonde got back on his back "Yeah."

The trio had been walking in silence for a few minutes now and they were approaching the end of the shortcut, somehow the path felt longer than it should've but Natsu didn't mind. "I must ask." Virgo said "Why do you have pink hair?" "Gee, Virgo, that's a good question coming from you." Lucy sighed in a sarcastic tone "Well I am a spirit which is not human. And to be honest, Princess, pink is not a natural hair colour." "Well I guess you're right, so when did you dye your hair Natsu?" Natsu frowned "You really think it's died? Why would I dye my hair pink of all colours?" The blondes brown eyes met with his onyx ones "So it's not died?" "'Course it's not!"
The trio had reached magnolia and looked at the clock on Kardia cathedral "Shit, we're late, Virgo how fast can you run?" Natsu looks at the pink haired maid "I can get there just tell me where the school is," "It's on the coast of magnolia." He pointed in the direction of the coast "Alright I'll meet you there," The maid spun around, chains clanging together, and pierce through the ground "She can dig?" Natsu said, jaw dropping in awe. The blonde spoke answering his question "Yeah, that's her special ability." "Let's not waste time Luce let's get to school! Hold on tight" A flame sparked from his clenched fist and they took off.

"HEY! NOT TOO FAAAST!"

"I TOLD YOU TO HANG ON TIGHT!"

"NATSUUU! YOU JUST KNOCKED OVER A STALL"

"IT IN MY WAY."

"AND JUST SO YOU KNOW I'M NOT GONNA BE LATE I HAVE ENOUGH DETENTIONS"

The two bickered on the journey to school only getting one minute before being late. That day was a mark of a new era.

YAY. CHAPTER ONE IS COMPLETE!
