How Reading Changed My Life

This is a short little poem about more then just Lord of the Rings. It is about how reading changed my life and I hope you like it, I think more people will relate to this poem then most would think or admit. Don't care if you think I'm crazy, it's true.

Hi everybody just a short poem about how reading changed my life. (Includes relations to LOTR, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Hunger Games ect.)

How Reading Changed My Life

Never again will I see things the same way,

I flip through book pages, and forget my whole day.

Harry and Ron join me when I'm alone,

And Gandalf is there when I can't find my way home.

Katniss sang when I found a loved one who was going to die,

Rue knew through crushed dreams that I could still fly.

Annabeth reassures me whenever a spider is near,

While Sirius is always nearby when there's a secret to hear.

Sam Gamgee reminds me to keep to the light,

Percy Jackson will talk to me if I'm too scared to fight.

Ginny and Luna wave as I walk down the street,

Pippin instructed me on how to endure cruelness, while still acting sweet.

Hermione encourages me during all of my studies,

And Aragorn finds me when I'm abandoned by all of my 'buddies'.

Rachel Dare inspired me to paint with feet

Grover I can depend on to provide something to eat.

Although all of these wonderful people are not real in this world,

I've made them all places in mine.

(This poem was written by me and my love for these characters. And no, I'm not lonely or crazy, I just happen have a very active imagination.)
