It was gone in a moment. It went in a blaze I felt so helpless, at being so far away
The entire area around Capsule Corp. was completely obliterated. One lone figure stood in the smoothering smoke of the wreckage and devastation.
The Prince of All Saiyans could do nothing as everything around him that he came to know and love was gone in the blink of an eye. Yet, because of his Saiyan heritage he was able to withstand the final blow that the fiery beast dealt, his family could not.
Even Trunks and his best friend, Goten, weren't strong enough to survive the tremendous power only because they were half Saiyan, half-human.

Another figure stood amidst the charred wilderness around his once beloved home. Everything that was so dear to him was gone as well.
The Earth raised Saiyan felt the energy of his friends and family disappears without a trace except for one, Vegeta. It was apparent that he and the noble prince was the last and he didn't know if he could face his friend at the moment.
No words can describe it. There was nothing to save. The ashes have dried now. They have all been blown away
Vegeta shifted through some of the rubble and after an hour just trying to piece what he could back together he gave up. With one final look, the prince took to the air heading to his one time rival's house.
He touched down to an all to familiar scene.
Goku was just standing in front of what use to is his front door not saying a word. A gloved hand gently touched his shoulder. The taller male jumped slightly from the contact.
Cause everything's been taken from me now, I don't believe it. When everything that you had just sweeps aside.
"There was nothing that I could do to save them Geta."
"I know, Kakarott."
I close my eyes, and I try to remember when 'Cause pictures in my head, they're all I have of them
"It's only us now."
Vegeta nodded his head in silent agreement. The rest of the world went on as the last full-blooded Saiyans bid farewell to their family.

Whatever happens they knew that the Earth would always be their home, but for now they were Hell bent on finding the ones responsible for turning their lives upside down and inside out.
But little did they know that they were not the only ones on the planet suffering at the lost of loosing people that they cared about to the unforeseen mythical creature known as the Phoenix.
